gbafix worked, this is what I got:

White Screen:
F-Cyan
F-Sienna (4.0 fix3 & 4.1)
F-Quartz

Works but breaks:
L-Advanced Adventure = Plays Oaks intro, then freezes.
R-Harvestcraft = Plays Oaks intro, then freezes.
F-DBZ Team Training = Freezes when choosing a starter.

Works:
F-Chronicles of Soala
L-Delta Green
E-Emerald Wally Version (1.05 & 1.10)

I got some others I'm checking later, but I'm skipping Emerald based hacks for now because the top screen is broke on my 3ds, and the version that works with Emerald only displays on the top screen.

Edit: I should mention that the build I'm using to test these is the one included with the latest version of Twilight menu. Also for working hacks I'm only going as far as getting into the first battle or a bit farther.

Out of space in which way?
That you couldn´t add more information to the Retail games template. The program would delete a big chunk of the section.
Strange, I can´t reproduce the issue... Next time I will take a screenshot.

Been away from any 3ds stuff for a while. Loving the DS widescreen stuff and was curious if there was a like, zoom/full screen type patch/function for this?

Currently not, but fully customizable scaling and masking is planned. Don't expect great results from scaling though as I cannot really apply any filtering.

I've checked a few more hacks yesterday. There was a few more I also checked not listed here, but my notes is not matching with what I remember (mostly Emerald stuff), and so I need to double check those later. I'll also update the first post I made for continence later when I do (also what version each hack is, though they are all the latest unless noted).

White Screen:
F-Platinum Red
F-Pulsar
F-Shining Opal
F-Ultra Shiny Gold Sigma
F-Unbound - (2017 demo)*
F-Unbound - (2019 Battle Tower demo)*

Freezes after the Trademark Screen:
F-Eclipse
F-Fire Red VR Missions
F-Shiny Gold

Freezes after the Title Screen:
F-Mirage of tales - Evando prologue = Grey screen after the "PRESS START" screen
F-Mirage of tales - Kala prologue = same
F-Mirage of tales - Zhafira prologue = same

Loads but breaks:
F-Life Version - I'll double check later, but I believe it crashes receiving the starter (I know it crashes somewhere)
F-Ultra Violet - Crashes when picking starter/Crashes when starting battle to catch starter (safari zone style)

Enhancement hacks:

White Screen:
E-Cosmic Emerald
F-Extreme Red
F-Kanto Black
F-Meta Fire Red X
F-Meta Fire Red Y
F-Nameless Fire Red Project
F-Omega Red
F-Super Heart Red
F-Throwback
F-Ultra Fire Sun

Loads but breaks:
E-Emerald: Double Edition (1.1 & 1.2) = Freezes after Pof. Birch message while being chased by Zigzagoon.

Loads fine:
F-Alternate Evolutions
E-Emerald Kaizo
F-Fire Red 20XX
F-Iridescent
E-Oof

*gbafix required.

Also I wanted to say that the rtc is working just fine on regular Emerald for me. Closing the game and turning it on later shows it is working as it should.

@Gericom, I still get the timing issues in Mario & Luigi - Superstar Saga (E).
I use the latest build from the master and rom3M branch.

Yeah, I think it's good you test with the weakest system. Since then it can only be better than the compatibility list at least.
I wonder if disabling the main memory cache could fix some games that currently white screen after the bios intro.
I will probably have to retest every game again...

  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
never had that i don't think
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
