They should have just banned anyone who gets online before the release. It would filter out pirates.
Yeah, and while they are at it, they could also get rid of the hundreds of legitimate users who got their copy earlier than the release date. How dare them to play the game before the release date! They should have just banned anyone who gets online before the release. It would filter out pirates.
Does anyone know if people with modded Wiis who run things from USB drives can use this?

Did you even read the first 5 pages?
So far, someone claimed to get it working on *snip*, but that's it.
Been messing with it since the ISO came out and now I'm pretty sure a cIOS with IOS59 as the base is required. I tried making a d2x patch manually, but without the correct content ID order it was completely broken. And since 59 isn't on NUS...
If Dragon Quest X remains the only game that uses IOS59 Nintendo has no reason to put it on NUS. Which means there is no legal way for a cIOS with IOS59 as base unless you have the original disc. And since 59 isn't on NUS...

Links to IOS59 and the cIOS cannot be shared here. One have to code an offline cIOS59 installer and the users have to search for IOS59 themselves or extract it from the disc image. If Dragon Quest X remains the only game that uses IOS59 Nintendo has no reason to put it on NUS. So could somebody with the original disc provide the file required to make the cIOS with IOS59 as base?
I know somebody with the original discs if that helps ?

No, this is wrong. Just fakesigning a IOS doesn't make it running backups. Wait till davebaol has made a d2x cIOS wth IOS59 support.I have the IOS - extracted from the disc.
I patched the IOS using wiisharp made by xflak to fake sign it ~ I then installed it as a .wad.
is that what you're thinking of doing? If so, it didn't work.

Hey guys, I am importing this game in the morning. Do I need to have a JP Wii or will I be able to play it on my 3.4 US Wii? It's been so long since I've messed with my system. Any help's much appreciated.
