this new revision has a better approach to the r43 code. retry the games that weren't working with r44

hey quick question. im using r42 with a 2gb micro formated fat16 (which i believe is 32k clusters) and so far everything has been perfect, but when i play f-zero it has audio skipping in the main menus. other than that it seems flawless. is the audio skipping just cus im forced to use 32k clusters instead of 64k??? any help/tips would be appreciated, thank guys.

Is that some sort of built-in Memory Management feature?
Yeah, it removes the need for any physical memory card in order to save games, instead I think it dumps them as files in a "saves" folder on your sd card, but since I own a memory card I'm probably not gonna bother to test that build myself.

Thanks. I will also stick to my mem cards as well, for now.

Gonna try the r44 with cheat support and the NMM build (even if I have like 3 memory cards) just to try it out. I'll report back soon.

Tried the r44 with NMM, with RE2 it froze when I was about to save. Sorry, no log, 'cause I'm still testing other games.

I see that the lastest revisions include the patch for wind waker, will something happen if I have my game already patched?

Another test: MGS just shows up "Unable to save to memory card in slot A". I'm guessing that this still doesn't work...

dml with nmm works.. just tried it with mario kart.. however it still hates mario party games.. they give the corrupted memory card error in game...

How did you make it work? It did recognize that I had a memory card inserted (Not physically), but when I tried to save it just froze.

I just wanted to mention that now after I've had time too cool off, I think GodLike's original suggestion from the first post is better than grabbing DML from an alternate source. I just want to apologize to the DML team for my role in derailing this thread earlier, we all could have been smarter about it. I hope there's not a next time, but if there is I hope we can talk things out before things get to this point.

Keep up the great work, I'm luving seeing nmm+dml in one

i see in the logs it's missing CARDFastOpen. it might be erroring because it's using that instead of one of the other open functions

Yeah I wouldn't be to hopeful of this working well for several revisions. Only so many things can be fixed at a time, and if you throw in a new feature it's bound to introduce new issues.

It did recognize the memory card, but as stated before it froze in the saving... In MGS, it just said that it was unable to save. I'm not all that worried if this works or not, I have 3 memory cards. But I tested it for the people that does need it.

Be that as it may, I agree with you, this DML+NMM will give many people a lot of headaches...
