I've been watching lots of Plug and Play videos, as well as Famiclones videos, and started wondering this next question...
If Nintendo hates piracy, and they do not allow piracy on their systems, why won't they sue big companies that sells such Pirate consoles, like Walmart and uh... the shopping channel, and magazines, etc?

If Nintendo is so strict with their policies, to the point of even suing a company for digitized Joysticks, why won't they just do the same with such companies that makes, ships, and sells Piracy?

Because there are about a billion and a half (probably more) famiclones and crap. A few are good (Bittboy is pretty cool), most are not, and some are pretending to be something they aren't. But, there are so many, it would be a waste of time and money to sue them. Plus, they aren't that big, the max amount of money you could squeeze out of them probably wouldn't cover however much it costs to make a lawsuit and stuff.

I just read your response, and then, why DO they sue small designers and publishers, cancels Fan Projects and sends C&D to everyone else?
Is not a real question, is just to point out how unfair it is for some solo developers, and how unfair it is for people that hacks their systems.

Master Chief is a person, who is in charge of a cooking place or in charge of a restaurant.
Su-Chief in the other hand, is the person in charge when the Master Chief is not around.
Also, it could be refering to the tv show: "Master Chief"

I suppose, if they get mad at the use of unlicensed software, why they won't do the same to unlicensed hardware AND software.
