Any way to get the game to work properly on DSiMenu++? Applying the v2 final English patch seemingly trims the ROM, so not even disabling the checksum for the AP patch helps, because xdelta3 complains about the ROM being too small. The game boots, but the AP checks make the text unreadable as expected.

I then tried another avenue to almost no avail: first, I grabbed an AP patch intended for the untouched ROM, applied it and then applied the translation patch on top. The game boots and has readable text, but it freezes right after Edgeworth asks Nicole Swift whether Di-Jun Huang collapsed.

Is there a way to make things work?

You could always try getting past that part in an emulator, transferring your save file and seeing if it freezes later on in the game as well or not.

That's the only way to go, I fear. At any rate, I find it odd that these issues haven't been mentioned in nds-bootstrap's issue tracker.

By the way, I made an APFix patch based on the one available around; it is to be applied after the English V2 Final one with xdelta3, and solves the garbled text issue on DSiMenu++. There's no need to disable checksum verification.

If anyone is interested, they can find it at https://mega.nz/#!35oCjQBa!R6FQLW6mg5PZWGFNWAHNaLZfTOE4sjrfQdabdHaFsKI . Feel free to mirror it to your heart's content. All credit goes to the original creators.

The game now works properly with the latest DSiMenu++ and nds-bootstrap versions.

I don't suppose there's a way for me to report typos in the translation, since the project is no longer being developed, is it?

Report them anyways, you never know what the future holds :ninja: (seriously, go back a few pages in this thread if you don't know what I'm talking about)

Any links to an AP patched version? Having trouble applying the patch. I'm on mac and downloading Xdelta gives me a lot of files that dont make it clear what I should try to open with wine or something.

If using *nix, why don't you install xdelta3 via apt-get?

Already tried to install via brew or building it from source?

Hey guys, I have a 3DS with bootstrap9 and twilight menu, the newest version. I have the problem that it's not working for me like DMSalesman said. With the aforementioned patch, I can fix the garbled text issue, but the game freezes at the same place as DMSalesman said in his post at the top. Did I miss something that I have to patch additionally to fi this or do ihave to play with an emulator past that part?

If you’re referring to the first dialogue option with Nicole on the left side of the audience, I proceeded through just fine with no freezes. Used the steps I made on the previous page, and the suggested clock speed (NTR) with latest version of TwilightMenu and nds-bootstrap. I’ll continue playing through case 1 to make sure I’m not confusing this with any other times this could come up and edit my post with results.

Edit: Completed audience investigation with no issues. I’m pretty sure this doesn’t come up again so I don’t see the problem.

HELP!

Hi, I want to patch the game i am in Mac and i don't find that "multipatch" that you are talking for, but , I have access to a Windows so, no prob about that, I guess.

My PROBLEM is that when I click some of the links of the patch (the ones up there) they send me to a page called FileTrip, from there all normal, and in that page is a big blue "DOWNLOAD" button, I press there to download the page and redirect me to another page that I guess is the one that start the download, but in that page says me that "isn't working" and other rare things, the "case" is that THE PATCH DON'T DOWNLOAD.

I don't know that those links aren't the ones with the patch, if FileTrip is "closed" that in the up part of the page says, if the "big blue DOWNLOAD button" isn't the right download one, if is because I am in mac, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S THE PROBLEM AND WHAT TO DO.

Please help me with that if you can and all that I say if the same if I click the BEAT or XDELTA links, if someone tries to download them and happen the same things or it works, let me know, and the ones who can download it in their moment and now you can't, please, let me know.

And Auryn, the creator of this, I know that you do an awesome job, and that's why I want to download your patch, but I can't, help me if your can, please.

(If someone view an error in my english, again, let me know, I want to upgrade it)

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
