hello guys,
i got 2 questions about the xci and nsp files, cause i read something diffrent about it and now im a bit confused.
is it right, that i cant delete the xci file after i installed it? so, if i delete it, i cant start my backup, cause this file is like i have the gamecard sticked in? but does it matter when i need to update my backup, that the update file can be xci OR nsp?
the same question exists for me for the nsp installs...the nsp file is a "setup file" which installs the backup like i downloaded my game from the eshop? and also here...can i delete the nsp file, after install and the backup runs fine? and if i wanna update it, the update can also be xci or nsp?
i read, that sxos can handle it when i install nsp or xci, that i can delete the file after install? (but not from the start of sxos...that function was implemented in later versions?)
for myself....i got a switch from the release day of it. im running v8.0.1 and i use athomsphere 0.8.8. can someone please tell me, what is now true and what is false about the xci and nsp files?
thank you so much
