i'm tring to used it with sxos, all the id i'm sure that are correct beacause i used it on the pc chiaki.exe and the registration done correctly; i tried both version 2.1.1 and 2.0.1 but it return registration failed;
i've enabled in the sxos the la play; any solution?

i’ve Tried also with the last atmos but it crash;
Fw 11 sxos 3.1.0 atmos 0.17

edit: tested on ps5 and same problem

I tried to change sd, with a new conf file, but when i oper chiaki there was the 2 registration i've done in the first sd card, if i change value with pc, when i open on the switch it change with 2 configuration about ps4 and ps5, so where he can find the configuration file?

At least:
sd numeber 1 conf file with ps4 and ps5
sd number 2 without conf file

when i run chiraki with sd card 2 it charge me the conf file in the first sd card, how it's possible?

I'm in the same situation as you.

I have try all type of things, with PC it registers right away, but SX OS with homebrew channel installed with legal NSP and opening it holding R, both versions of chiaki tested and never get the registration well.

Please some help here. I can share any logs needed.

Finally it worked; if helps i do this step:

1. eliminate all the chiaki.nro and conf from sd card;
2. download chiaki 2.1.1 from ~thestr4ng3r/chiaki/refs/v2.1.1
3. download forwarder nsp found in this thread at page 4
4. put the chiaki.nro file SD:\switch\chiaki (sd\switch\chiaki\chiaki.nro)
5. install nsp
6. run chiaki from the nsp installed (only push "b" without holding "r")

then i copy the file conf in the other sd and it worked... make sure you put your online id with your name and the account id with the = final;

Hi everyone, got it working perfectly, runs like a charm with a proper wifi + public ip when i'm not at home. Really fantastic app, big kudos to H0neyBadger ;)

One small problem. I have a ddns-service running and can connect via my domain name when i first register but as soon as re-open the app on my switch, the domain name gets cut off after the first (.dot). It gets also cut off in the conf file, so it's no display issue. Via Public IP it's still working, but my ISP switches it every couple of days...
Any hope for a fix? Is H0neyBadger still active here? The app is in maintenance mode and i don't know how to report a bug on git.sr.ht TBH.... :blush:

Morning everybody, I'm having the weirdest of issues.
I've updated to Atmosphere 17.1 with OS 11.0.1, and, as I was at it, I've update to Chiaki 2.1.1.

Now, for some reason, I can't connect to my PS5 anymore. As soon as I click on connect, the app freezes instantly, until the Switch crashes and reboots.

Wake-up works perfectly fine, and, even to make it even weirder, if I unplug the ethernet cable off my PS5 and keep it connected via WiFi, it connects without any problem!

So, to make a summary:

  • AMS 17.1 E
  • OS 11.0.1
  • Chiaki 2.1.1 (tried both via hbmenu Applet Mode and through Full Ram Access)
  • PS5 connected via ethernet = Chiaki freezes as soon as I click connect, and then the console reboots
  • PS5 connected via WiFi = Chiaki works fine
  • Wake up = works in both scenarios
P.S. I obviously changed IP addresses when moving from LAN to WIFI and viceversa :)

I haven't changed anything on my internal network, so, I'm really confused :(

Thank you but not working!!

I did all you mentioned, still registration error, on PC it connects perfectly. I tried with a totally new connection with a new router...

I'm heartbroken. Why it does not work? Could the connection errors show more useful information? T_T

Ok. Finally working. Things you NEED TO KNOW:

1 - Chiaki for Switch DOES NEED an active/operative/online internet connection. Whereas Chiaki for PC can run in offline local network fine.
2 - Chiaki for Switch with modded PS4 version 7.02 (and I guess 6.72 and 5.05) DOES NEED to first enabled HEN mode. Whereas Chiaki for PC can run without HEN enabled.
3 - Somewhere I saw recommended to change your network settings in the Switch to have the MTU to 1500 instead of the 1400 set by default.

All good now, but it is extremely sad that I can run from Chiaki Windows in offline network and that the Switch requires online to be able to stablish connection. (and hen enabled as well).

Extra: My set up if Switch with SX OS and forwarder chiaki nsp of the page 4 of this thread. I launch without holding R, as another user recommended me. I have not any overclock nor I have change anything else in SX OS. My PS4 is 7.02, I launch HEN enabler in order to be able to connect. PS4 connected via LAN to router 5G and Switch connected via Wifi. Router needs operative internet connection for the connection.

Hi, please what about dualsense on android? Its working but buttons are switched. Is there any chance to make IT work properly or have to wait for update? Thanks

FIXED

For anyone who might encounter the same issue, it looks like MTU set to 1500 was making the hang and eventually reboot my switch.
I assume this might be a bug found just with this specific combo of versions (AMS+OFW+PS5 with current setup).

Changing MTU back to 1400 fixed the issue straight away :)

Just came to say thanks again. Because it's still working perfectly with my ps5 from anywhere.

Any hopes of getting 1080p on switch?

Thanks again

You can force 1080p from the .config file manually. but, it's not very stable.
I've OCed my CPU to 1724mhz, and, despite being massively better, it still wasn't good enough.

I don't think the bitrate changes that much to be fair (which is probably what you're after)...but you can give it a go :)

It seems so.

Please, if someone else can verify this would be nice, is not documented. :teach:

Yeah, if so I would put the whole "hacking my Switch" project way back, Chiaki is the biggest part of why I want to do it due to my Vita not working with the PS5 and I don't plan to let my emuMMC anywhere near online :/

Could someone else maybe please do a quick test for us to confirm?

I think it's been poorly explained.

Chiaki doesn't need INTERNET, it needs a connection, a Wi-Fi connection, exactly like your PSVita does.
There are multiple ways to block access to Nintendo servers on your Switch, the most efficient one probably being Incognito mode, that gets rid of your prodinfo.

There's no need to actually wipe your prodinfo any more, and it's not worth the risk of recommending it, at least on sysnand. The number of permanently damaged Switches I see posted about because people lost their prodinfo backup makes me sad (and worse is people unknowingly buying said Switches). You can use Atmosphere's on-the-fly prodinfo blanking, its new DNS redirection, and 90dns - any of them should do the job, but no harm in combining all three.
