    The one thing I like about Apples closed architecture is that any educated thief won't steal an apple product as it won't have any value without a password.Jailbreaks these days need the device to be unlocked too

    Then again, not every Android phone will have this functionality, and a thief can't know that until they've already stolen the device, unfortunately. Also I don't think any Huawei devices can do Google anymore, I'm not sure if they replaced it with their own in-house stuff though.
    But then again, your average thief isn't going to know about activation lock and will steal it anyway, whether it be Apple or Android.

    True Android has it too but I’d say it’s more common knowledge that Apple has a more security. Also Android is pretty much locked down unless you enable adb debugging and unlock the bootloader anyways

    MacBooks and Ipads also have activation lock compared to a laptop or surface device which can be easily factory reset. This is all coming from a diehard android guy.

    Legends Arceus is surprisingly addicting. While it has problems and feels incomplete, it makes me excited for the next game which is in itself surprising

    the metaverse is supposed to be like a web browser connecting to the internet, but VR headsets connecting to the metaverse. the metaverse isn't just making a centralized virtual world, the whole point is to make a decentralized "universe" inside our own, hence "metaverse". WebVR is probably the closest we have to the metaverse rn.

    The Metaverse will only be cool if I can fight Shadows in it with mythological monsters that appear whenever I take my mask off, or crush my tarot card, without feeling sick after like five minutes.

    Because it's a direct ripoff where they try to get on its trend by even calling it "imposter mode". It just seems desperate to ride on the current hype of that game, and what's worse is that for everything else they had partnerships, but for this they never even credited the team who were willing to help with the project.

    Dlss is just too crazy. On a 4k tv, rendering at 720p looks like 4k at normal viewing distance.

    Thats really interesting. Ultra performance and performance mode definitely have downgrades but the quality mode always just looked the same to me. At least at 4k which DLSS is really made for, 1080p might be different

    If you don't notice it that's honestly good for you so I wouldn't want to take that away. I used to use it on my 1440P monitor and it was very visible, and now on my 4K TV it's still the same, both at Quality. Basically the whole image gets slightly more blurry compared to native.
