The Slimening!
Finally after all this time the translation for Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippo Dan is released...mostly!

Welcome-300x179.png

Good news and some not-so-good news - good news is that the patch released right now is mostly done with the game.
All images, NPC text, and menus are translated and should be very playable.
Bad news is that this isn't the final version and there's still more to be released - some in-game text may appear to go off of the screen or some items or quests might have some random not English words in them.

However! Updates should not take nearly as long as it took for the this initial patch! The game is fully playable and is very enjoyable to play as-is.

The Slimening?
To those of you who are uninitiated, Rocket Slime 3DS is a spin-off of the mainline Dragon Quest series following the adventures of the

BRAVEST.
.............MOST INTIMIDATING.
..................................SUBLIME

TERRIFYING ISN'T IT?
It's the Dragon Quest Slime, Rocket.

Rocket Slime 3DS follows the adventures of Rocket and his friends while he tries to retrieve the Rainbow Orbs stolen by Don Clawleone. The Rainbow Orbs cause havoc among the world due to their ability to give sentience to landmarks.

Rocket fights against the odds with each passing day the Platywag’s fleet growing ever more expansive and deadly. All hope is not lost, although, as Rocket has a secret up his sleeve: his gigantic warship.

The main draw of Rocket Slime 3DS is the ship battles, where two ships duke it out for naval supremacy using various objects crafted, traded, and collected while on land. Swords and catnip are excellent for shooting out of cannons.

Gameplay Tips and FAQ

Ninja SlimesWhy am I moving so slowly? How do I kill things faster? How do I stop losing all the time?!Wireless connection is spotty with other players?!Known Issues

    • Green: Trade for 8 items
    • Blue: Beat Sphinx of Flat Desert again
    • Red: Complete the Pink Sanguini ship part set

    • Try moving with Elasto Blasts, it's a pretty sizable speed increase - especially when it counts in ship battles.
    • Don't rotate the items on your head while walking or standing still, there is a large window of being unable to move if you do so. Instead, jump - and while midair - change the order of items on your head. This will retain momentum and switch the order.

    • If something is at a far range, hold an item and release it while performing an elasto blast.
    • Spikes are overpowered. Hold an enemy and stand in front of a spike to make an inescapable death trap by repeatedly catching and throwing either enemies or players.

    • Using the midair hover can dodge most attacks.
    • Chimera wings will defeat any enemy in a single shot.
    • Collect items constantly in levels to upgrade your ship's hull and ammunition. Explosive ammo is especially powerful.

    • Disabling luma’s in-game patching setting may help with desyncs.
    • The game often freezes for unknown reasons while starting multiplayer rooms, just keep trying.

    • Some trade good items are too long and obscure the next line
    • There is a length limitation on rank names, leading to some being cut off
    • Some items on the stat/inventory screen may overflow
    • Jungle Area, Funadel Wastes, Peninsula Point, and Easter Isle label on bottom screen are cut off (let us know if you find any more of these)
    • Some NPCs have split personalities: still is mainly due to the dialogue not necessarily being in sequential order on our end, it can also be difficult to tell which NPC it belongs to (there are a lot of duplicate names)
    • The additional loading times of the layeredFS patch may cause desyncs with a vanilla game

ffs. Don't WAIT to play it you guys... People have worked very hard on this and anyone who is excited to play this can REALLY help by playing the game and reporting back on the tiny glitches or bugs they may encounter so it can be 100% completed. Beta testing guys, otherwise it will take even longer to report a 100% completion.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
