Would you mind making a generic one for me?Use any of the dongle ones. Or I'll make a generic one
OK... Check OP in 20 minutesWould you mind making a generic one for me?
ok. thank you sir!
which bootloader should i use with them?Check post 2 under dongle section of downloads. One of those suitable?
With a dongle? None. The dongle is only for newly fitted internal chips.which bootloader should i use with them?
Stays at the rcm black screen for both. I'm using a standard trinket m0, with a 3v battery pack soldered to "bat" and "gnd". From the usb female port on the trinket, I'm using a microusb to usb c cable that I made "data lines only". Also, i had already flashed a bootloader before i contacted you, I don't know if that matters as I've flashed the generic uf2's since then. With a dongle? None. Try ejecting SD card and try againStays at the rcm black screen for both. I'm using a standard trinket m0, with a 3v battery pack soldered to "bat" and "gnd". Also, data lines only you say? You need a GND connection too...Try ejecting SD card and try again
Ahh. Ok, I'll try it when I get home. Thanks. Also, data lines only you say? You need a GND connection too...
I don't know how i missed the gnd wire. thank you it works. Also, data lines only you say? You need a GND connection too...
Use the one with no buttons. Then put your payload on SD root. Rename to payload.bin and you are away.So I am sitting back on 5.1.0 with oldschool hekate 2.3 or something like that on my dongle (the one that came out when atmosphere patches was first leaked) and plan on updating all this stuff/firmware to play newer games as once those patches dropped I never needed anything else cept now to play newer games. So um this seems way complicated compared to the other thread idk what's going on. Anyways need newest hekate 4.0 whatever UF2 files for trinket m0 dongle..Off the shelf nothing done to it other than some header pins so I can connect A battery to it easy. So is this what I want?
Added a note to OP. I`ve called it Step 0. In yellow near the top.@mattytrog
Thank you for your hard work.
It is really great project.
I think you should clarify that we have to flash 2x uf2 files to work correctly (It may also be that I am too stupid )
Method 3 version Tested and works perfect thanks =)v0.9.2 added to post 2. Only small changelog.
I've been hacking systems since the original xbox and everything since. The thing is. Once reinx released patches that allowed backups that was all I needed till now. But I need A newer firmware and all that for newer games so that prompted me to update all this stuff. Now having said that if you have been following the scene closely which I haven't it would be A great guide i'm sure. But since I had no reason to look into anything at all till now it's like I have to learn everything all over again and the scene has moved very fast. But thx for the info.Added a note to OP. I thought it was. Looks like I have my answer.Hello Matty, is the R4s working? I tried to apply R4S_v092_Simple-UF2.UF2 to my dongle but after loading it on dongle, it just keeps on flashing red led. What am i doing wrong?
It may not work as the data lines are used when the console is charging. If you try to boot with a modchip while the charger is plugged in it doesn't work so i doubt the dock willI'm curious if anyone has tried to install a modchip/dongle inside the dock and used auto rcm? I know some people that do not use their switch in portable mode & thought this would be a good idea for them.
