PowerA announces new wireless Switch controllers, including a Gamecube-style gamepad

The prominent accessory creator PowerA has announced two new lines of officially licensed Nintendo Switch controllers. Previously, they released wired controllers featuring popular Nintendo brands, such as Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda. This time, the company is releasing wireless versions, as traditional or Gamecube-styled gamepads. The Gamecube pads also have a wired variant for a significantly lower price.

The wireless controllers will retail at $49.99, whilst the wired Gamecube pad will release at a much lower price of $24.99.

I know the gamecube controller is about recreating a gamecube controller, but still kinda sad it doesnt have a better d-pad and c-stick.

my friend, why WTFFFFF didn't you tell me earlier??? it was 30min i tried to place a order without success....and it's unforgivable that an e-commerce site doesn't have english in 2018!!
and do you know a good place to purchase good 3rd party gamecube controller?

As much as I'd like to like this, I don't trust PowerA. I work in a game store and I've seen probably at least half of the PowerA stuff I sell returned as defective pretty quick. Not a good sign. Hori is where it's at.

When playing GameCube games in Nintendont, you can hold down L+ZL or L+ZR to have GameCube games act as if ZL and ZR are at 50%. Otherwise ZL and ZR = L and R 100% Not as ideal for racing games but it works for Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion.
