I don't understand why some of you are gonna buy the wireless one
I mean, unless the wire is very short, I'll buy the wired one
    cheaper and don't requires battery

Do the buttons and joysticks feel like quality ones, or like a cheap Burger King kid's toy?

would've been perfect if it had usb charging. I have yet to find a truly perfect first/ third party controller for any console this generation. Still waiting. There's always something you have to compromise on

clearly you never had x360/wii, all x360/x1/wii owners have rechargeable batteries and chargers ofc! you know, after 5 years of ordinary AA batteries usage, they will cost you a fortune....

maybe we will be able to use them in mario party because it says it suports motion controls.
and yeah it would be beter with a rechargeable baterry integrated.
but you can be sure of something all future consoles of nintendo will always have a gamecube based controller. cause it is the best controller ever made from the creation of the universe,
just like there was on the wii, the wii u and there is now on the switch

Fuuuuuuuuu! I was gonna get the PDP Pikachu and Zelda GameCube pads but PowerA gives you a 2 year warranty AND these pads have bigger d-pads. Screw it, I might just buy two from both companies!

    America's heart, she's a beaut.
Something about those face buttons on the Gamecube controller looks flimsy. Maybe it's the promo photos giving them a more glossy texture of cheap plastic, dunno. =/
Still neat for a cheap extra controller, gimme. =]

The buttons on the GameCube controllers were always glossy. All these people nagging about the AA batteries. Has anyone ever heard of rechargeable AA batteries? I've been using those since the XBox 360 was released. On average I only had to recharge once a week. Twice if I was playing a pointer heavy game on Wii/Wii U.

I should explain. Cheap plastic is thin which allows shadows cast to be seen through it giving it a not so even looking color, a lot of cheap plastics also have a hard clear coat that looks shinier than quality plastic with a glossy finish like Nintendo uses.
It could also just be the very photoshoppied pictures they used for their pre order page. I have one of the early Power A Switch controllers and they feel just fine so I'm not too worried, just making observations. ;p

Gotcha! I'm also not that worried about the quality of these PowerA controllers. I currently have 4 of their Switch pads and they are worth every penny.

I'll never understand why people have such a problem with controllers using AA batteries instead when you have the ability to buy rechargable ones that last longer and can be replaced compared to controllers with built in batteries like the Playstation controllers. I can't even use my PS4 controller that long without having to recharge the damn thing.
