maybe im in the minority but i'd much rather play a game on low settings/full resolution than high settings/dynamic resolution using fsr/dlss/similar. most dynamic resolution stuff makes the game look like soup to me, especially up close on a pc monitor.
love how in this age the documents folder is basically unusable in windows because every new game you launch has to have its own damn folder in there instead of putting one in the "my games" or "saved games" folder

was reading some ancient threads on here for fun and physically recoiled when i saw a thread where someone was like "this ps3 game is 17GB?!?! what could one game need all that space for?!"
I've seen a lot of people online fully convinced that the Metroid Prime 4 gameplay we saw was not on Switch 1 hardware and I don't get it. It looked as good as MP Remastered, and much like that game, it probably achieves high performance by only loading smaller map segments at a time. Some people were even saying it'll *only* release for the next console which is straight up untrue lol.
i cannot even begin to put into words how fucking phenomenal selaco is. if you have steam you NEED TO PLAY IT.

resurrected a portable dvd player today. it had a broken screen, which was replaced. interestingly, it also has usb and sd slots, as well as a port labeled av in/out. maybe i'll be able to do something cool with it.
just spent the last 2 hours playing half life on my ps2 while my cat sat next to me. safe to say, i don't think life gets much better than that.

He was hiding behind bushes with an AK rifle waiting on trump at his golf course, and secret service spotted him and fired couple rounds when he ran off. The actual shooter never fired. -

Okay so from what the news are reporting, the guy was just hanging out, and the SchutzStaffel started shooting at him, he didn't return fire, and instead ran to his car and tried to escape.+1
