    Just played some stadia trial games on my phone since it's shutting down n all. Honestly it's not bad, the cloud streaming worked pretty well. i don't like the model of paying full price for a game you can only stream, but if the cloud tech was used for renting games or trying demos that'd be neat

    still don't think cloud gaming should ever replace physical media/downloads, but it'd be a nice budget option if done correctly

    Kinda disappointed this doesn't have Custom difficulty or the Disable Enemy Aggression toggle, both of which XC2 had (and DE noticeably lacked), but then again those weren't in base XC2 but were added in updates, so...hopefully XC3 will get them too?

    Can't tell you just HOW fantastic the toggle was, being able to explore each Titan without constantly being dragged into battle. As for Custom, it was brilliant for grinding Affinity Charts (minimise enemy HP for those 'kill X enemies' nodes, maximise for Blade Specials, etc.) or just general player taste. Not to mention the accessibility both provided.

    Personally, I like how the two nations use different means to recharge their arts - Noah's group's arts recharge over time, just like in XC1, whereas Mio's group has their arts recharge based on auto-attacks, a la XC2.

    if your switch is banned does the news app still download more news? just curious as i don't actually know if mine is banned, and every time i connect to new wifi it downloads more news before i set up the dns.

    Don't connect to wifi without setting up the DNS. Enter a a wrong password, and then it will let you save and edit the connection.

    Just a few years ago Goodwill was paying customers to take CRTs out of their backrooms. Can't believe they're so collectable now.

    the first thing in my hierarchy of needs right now is a crt television (the one i have currently is broken and therefore a fire hazard)

    Funny enough, not too long ago everybody was throwing away perfectly good CRTs because of "heavy", "outdated", "bad", "old".
    Whenever I could, I took one. Sadly some of them failed. Two huge TVs are still working. Remember when a TV actually had thick, big loudspeakers that worked?

    Incredibly, the new laser i got for my Ps2 worked (after some calibration). been enjoying ffx, and going to a local retro store tomorrow (thats just opening!) to maybe get some more games! :)

    I feel that pain. My PS2 issue was always the P1 controller, I kept buying new controllers but they always ended up disconnecting, I figure it was the port but I'll never know now.

    @JuanBaNaNa I don't remember any specific mods, but i do remember that status updates used to have a character limit and you couldn't attach files... not sure when that changed.
