So, the usual -3 error everyone seems to have. However I had haxchi installed and never needed the SD card on every boot. I only used the SD card to install games and Haxchi 3 months ago. Then I synced my gamepad to another Wii u and of course now it's not paired w/ the 'broken' Wii U.

What are my options?

So, what's the problem? You can't reach the official launcher and pair it again (which wouldn't be a possible issue with the configuration you described)?

It turns on Nintendo logo, then black screen with "-3" in the corner and goes no further.

Yah, I kinda have like 2 different problems going on, I can't re-sync the pad because I'm stuck on a 'error screen' that goes no further.

I'm posting all this on my friends behalf, so i'm trying to provide as much details as I can. I just may have to get it from him and continue troubleshootin myself.

So you have CBHC and not Haxchi? Or you manually changed the launcher app to your Haxchi title?

If the former, he should be able to see references to CBHC on the screen - and able to stop the autoboot with the sync button of the console, though I'm not sure ;

-3 in any case means a FAT32 partition on the SD can't be mounted, though indeed it shouldn't be an issue at boot time in most configurations

haxchi - the one where u have to open the haxchi first before you play a game. He's gonna bring it to me soon so I can troubleshoot more thoroughly.
