So I'm currently working on a number of themes for CTRboot Manager and after a day and half of work I present to you my first theme for CTRboot :D

300808-btm_img.png

To use, just download and place the top_img.bin and btm_img.bin on the root of the SD card and use either Notepad++ or your favorite text editor to edit the boot.cfg file then at the bottom of yours change where it to this by cut copy and pasting it on your boot.cfg file or just drag and drop everything out of the rar file on to the root of your SD card over writing your old boot.cfg, your choice :P

// RGB colors
theme =
{
bgTop1 = "4a0031";
bgTop2 = "6f0149";
bgBottom = "6f0149";
highlight = "ffffff";
borders = "ffffff";
font1 = "000000";
font2 = "000000"; // selection
bgImgTop = "/top_img.bin"; // 400x240 pixels
bgImgBot = "/btm_img.bin"; // 320x240 pixels

You'll find the download link below enjoy :D

Glad you like it, i'm working on two other ones right now with ideas for several others after im done, I also have plans to try and tackle some custom 3DS themes if time allows :D

I'm thinking I may just make a new thread to post all my themes, might be easier then having to track them all down lol :D

+1 for creating the mini guide because some people in here don't have a clue and that saves us time and posts.

ths offset set as 0x12000. offset is not same as another cfw? or its not compatible with GW launcher.dat? I dont think so. please correct me the offset for the launch gateway menu.
Im using menuhax 2.5 3ds detail is on the signature.

It doesn't support gateway launcher.dat, use the GW.3dsx instead (remove the offset from the entry), should be like this:
Code:
        {
            title = "GatewayMode";
            path = "/3ds/GW/GW.3dsx";
        },

Hello and good day. So I've installed a custom firmware using [EmuNAND9-20160115-005858] and [rxtools 2.6].

Now I wish to use CtrBoot so I wouldn't go to the browser every time I open my 2DS and head to EmuNAND.

Trouble is that [rxtools 2.6] doesn't have a [sys] folder and I don't know what to put on [boot.cfg] for it to boot. I tried putting a [sys] folder from other rxtools version but it wouldn't work either.

I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks~
Just boot the 2.6 payload...
It's called rxTools.dat and it is in the root

Here's an interesting question... is it possible to QuickBoot miniPasta CFW? I currently have L set to Bootmenu, R set to MiniPasta, and Coldboot R set (via MenuHax) to boot clean SysNAND.

- Holding L and selecting MiniPasta successfully launches patched SysNAND if I hold R after it is launched (to coldboot SysNAND).
- Holding R will FAIL to boot MiniPasta (is there an offset I don't know about? The RxTools one doesn't work).

Why can't I directly boot into MiniPasta, but launching via the menu itself or HomebrewLauncher works fine?

EDIT: Looks like it works, just VERY VERY rarely compared to the other launch options.

Hi @cpasjuste
Since the first releases, ctrbootmanager had improved so much that I'm pleased to use it. Just a suggestion, as the last improves were graphics, why not try (if it's possible of course) to make the selection list more graphical with personalized icons, it'll be certainly a nice addition :)
Thanks and keep doing such a good work.

I swear I feel like giving up on my Gateway card! The boot rate on it is ridiculous.

So there's three types of chances where my 3DS will freeze:
1. Menuhax loading up, can possibly get stuck on a yellow screen (Low chance though)
2. When I load Gateway, I gotta HOPE that the dragon logo appears. If not, I have to shut it off and try again.
3. Once the logo does appear, I now have to HOPE that emunand loads up fine.

I literally froze on all three of those scenarios back to back.
I have it setup "/3ds/GW/GW.3dsx";
With Gateway 3.7.1's .3dsx and launcher.dat files on my SD card.

I don't understand why Gateway's boot rate is this ridiculous! It makes me WISH I was an all out CFW user. Because ReiNand and Rxtools boot 100% perfectly every time.

I'm on CFW and sometimes I get the yellow screen. And really hard times I get a black screen after the rxtools screen. But I get a high luck with the booting most of the time, as you say.

My gateway is really fucked up as well, when booting through ctrbootmanager or homebrew it's really rare for it to work, lol

AutoBoot seems not working on my O3DS9.2EU, booting from the latest MenuHax.
With timeout=0 autoboot of rxTools/Cakes hangs on black screen.
With timeout=1 autoboot of rxTools/Cakes hangs on CtrBootMenu menu.
Both working fine while selected manually in CtrBootMenu menu.

CBM 1.7 brings rxTools 3.0 nightly coldboot blackscreen on autoboot=0.
I have to change autoboot=1 or downgrade CBM to 1.2 to fix this.

I made a custom CTR-Boot Theme.
It's like the Homebrew Manager.

Photo made with smartphone (so you can see how it looks with font):

uFxzbPj.png
Top Screen
XRjlFo9.png
Bottom Screen

*Note:
The pictures look distort due my cheap camera- on the 3DS everything looks simple and smooth ;)

Here (PNG-file):

nMmVU7d.png
Top Screen
v9VUJQ9.png
Bottom Screen

RGB-Settings:
Code:
    // RGB colors
    theme =
    {
        bgTop1 = "ffffff";
        bgTop2 = "ffffff";
        bgBottom = "ffffff";
        highlight = "53bbf3";
        borders = "53bbf3";
        font1 = "000000";
        font2 = "ffffff"; // selection
        bgImgTop = "/top_img.bin"; // 400x240 pixels
        bgImgBot = "/btm_img.bin"; // 320x240 pixels
    };

How to use:
Download the Zip-File below and drag top_img.bin and btm_img.png to the root of your micro sd.
Change the RGB Color Code from your boot.cfg with the RGB-Settings above.
Done!

Enjoy! :D:D
You have to put it on the on the right thread, not here
