Looks like ill have to dig further.
I Thought it was halting because it couldn't find the .DAT File because i changed it to .NDS
So i made a copy of the nds file and changed it to DAT, hence i have .DAT & .NDS
But it still halts.
Its based off MS2 as you know.
So....Technically you should be able to add some MS2 ones and unlock it...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if this flashcart is a copy of the ezvi ou have to create a /CHT directory in root and copy you usrcheat.dat inside.
Also you can try to run the k1.90ob11 or k2.0 by simply renaming the file ez5sys.bin in root into _DS_MENU.DAT

Eh?
Little bastards.
Seems they have it encrypted it with like 5-20 bytes of code.
At the moment i cant get much info on what the *Bleep* its doing.

EDIT: Looking though its boot files with a hex-editor, There empty nothing zak zero nuttin.
WTF?
What a pain in the ass of a set up.

EDiT 2: I Cant get it to boot at all on this thing.

I doubt you can run a kernel from an ez5i clone on ak2i.
BTW, i'm interesting in making this work on my EZ5i, just for the score. I'm stuck at DLDI driver error at the boot.

So this is the first EZVi hardware based R4...

Now, fake R4 uses Three different others team hardware (Before, it was only AK2i and DSTTi).

Ok. Now i'm sure it's a copy of the EZ5i. I have compared files from the ez5 k2.0 and the hyper-R4i k1.54.
mscdat.dat from HR4i kernel is exactly the same than msfile.dat from EZ5 kernel.
When i hexedit this file i can see that this is used for the ez5 ingame menu.

No doubt now.

What a pitty. The second ez flash product to be copied after the ez1.

Im still going to crack it.
Show them up.

A SAY WE PUT CLONES OUT OF BUSINESS!
Hack them on a genuine card, say, its a better card, and you can run its OS on it so why?

Well here we have just a DLDI driver error. The same i have when i want to start kernel 1.54 from Hyper-R4i on my EZVi.
I have not the skill to replace the HR4i driver, and of course i can't take a look at the Hr4i firmware because this strange team has protected the 7zip file with a password.
I wonder how customers will do their update when they needed to.

This isnt an EZVi clone. Its based on the AK2 with some significant changes in the patching scheme which is now alot more like the R4 than the AK2 in patching roms.

As i told you on EZflash chan IRC, when you look at the two side of each PCB, you can see same components with same names printed (U1,U2, CRY1 ...).
And last, there is some codes taken from EZVi kernel 2.0 in the HR4i kernel 1.54.

In my opinion, this is a EZVi clone.

Got it today.

I'm impressed by the built quality, goes in and out perfectly, sticker perfectly aligned.

Tested and worked for my three DS (FAT/Lite/I).

Menu is fast, but very buggy (especially french kernel, text overflow/unreadable, engrish...).

And yes it's a EZVi clone, I recognize the moonshell2 based kernel.

And for now no soft-reset, no rts, no cheat, only bright adjust for dslite.

Of course final word, avoid it, and buy EZVi if you really want something good.

my friend has this card and ive tested it and i know its 100% a clone of ezvi.
These companies are just frikin gay wih gay ideas like stealing firmware and then joing the site to convinceus that its better than the ak2i.i think he shud be banned

from what they claimed it should be able to work around 1.4
however, this team is rather dissapointing based on how long they took to release their official firmware
so i would say don't have much hope with them or maybe they would take ages to facilitate a work around for 1.4
