Ship of Harkinian (Ocarina of Time) Wii U Port

This is a port of Ship of Harkinian to the Wii U. Ship of Harkinian is a PC port of Ocarina of Time allowing you to enjoy the game with modern controls, widescreen, high-resolution, and other great features!
Check out the awesome project here!

Quick Start

  • Requires a supported copy of the game (See supported games below).
The instructions below haven't been updated in a while. Join the official Discord for updated builds and support.

Releases:

  1. Download the Khan Charlie 6.1.2 .zip from here or the #downloads channel on the official Discord.
  2. Download the PC OTRGui version from here.
  3. Use OTRGui to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC version, you can use that as well.
  4. Copy the oot.otr file to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Nightly Builds:
:!:
The nightly builds come with up-to-date features, but are experimental. Use at your own risk.
  1. Download the latest soh-wiiu and soh-windows artifact.
  2. Use OTRGui from the soh-windows.zip to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC nightly version, you can use that as well.
  3. Copy the oot.otr file and the contents of the soh-wiiu.zip to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Did you try building the oot.otr yourself?
I tried to use it originally from OTRGUI BE version here, I believe it works but I can't pull open the emulation menu on the gamepad from pressing the minus button. I tried using the one given to me by someone else as it worked for them, but it didn't work. I guess my system is just finnicky.

I think I see the problem. Are you using a nighly build or a release one?

It says use the pc otr builder for nightly and the big endian one for release.
Yes, and I keep trying to follow the steps for the nightly builds but it keeps saying I need to use the Wii U version and not pc. Do I need to add something else to make it work?

When will GaryOderNichts make an update to his wii u port that includes the updates from the pc port? I think some people got this working because they use a certain cfw on their wii u while I use Haxchi and it's not working for me(it keeps saying not to use the pc OTR files on the wii u).
The Wii U port is up-to-date with the PC port. Your CFW doesn't matter, it should work as long as you can run the .rpx.
I was able to delete Haxchi and install and setup Tiramisu, and my games I play with cfw are working, like the GTA 3 port, but I still cannot work SoH. I'm even using the game files that nihilancheb had given to me and it still doesn't work.
This message has been removed in the nightly builds, so you're on an old nightly or on the old release build.
Are you using some sort of channel which has the .rpx baked in? If not, try a different SD Card?

Yeah because the OP instructions say that for the nightly builds: "Download the PC OTRGui version from here. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC version, you can use that as well." Which is what I did and it works fine.

It should be working for you if you're on the latest nightly.

When you said that, I realized I was using the SoH Wii U channel to launch it and I thought that was the issue, so I decided to tun it through the homebrew launcher and clicked on the rpx file as it appeared but it seemed to made my Wii U freeze and make a low humming noise. But I don't know I want to switch sd cards as the one I'm using has been helpful to me and never gave me issue with other stuff.
