iEDGE not loading Japanese ROMs

OS is 2.3. The file names of the roms are in Latin characters and I don't see a way to edit (or find) any Japanese characters in a hex editor. Help?

Any specific titles that you've tried to launch?
To my knowledge, there shouldn't be any troubles with Japanese ROMs on iEDGE.
Some newer games do require to be AP-fixed first, though.

Hmm, these are relatively old games, so it shouldn't be an AP issue.
Just tested those ROMs (clean, verified against No-Intro database) on my iEDGE, and they both launch properly.
Side note: my iEDGE is on Bootstrap v4, although I doubt that would affect game compatibility in any way, so it's probably something else.

Yeah, mine is also a DS Lite.
If that matters, the MicroSD in my flashcard is a Kingston 8GB class 10.
The filesystem is FAT32, no idea about cluster size, but I usually just use SD Card Formatter instead of Windows' built-in formatter.

It doesn't answer your question but might solve your problem. Twilight Menu can run most games perfectly so assuming you're using a DSi you probably don't need a flash cart.
