A problem i had when remapping: some options don't seem to respond to anything on the controller. I had this happen with "Next Target", so i had to quit with the Home button.
Only one issue I can only cycle to next target when aiming not previous target (unable to map)
I looked into this a bit further. The targetting options are actually button combinations.
To cycle between targets use the weapon cycle buttons while targetting.
The cycle options aren't supposed to be bindable to anything on a controller, so I disabled them in the latest update.
You shouldn't be able to softlock anymore.

Just installed the new version, works great and man what a great job!!

We still have some weird frame pacing issues i think, but that is not a big deal since it occurs for like 0.5 seconds

Edit: plus i dont even remember if the original release had it lol

@niuus based on this port, and particularly in the engine port that @GaryOderNichts is doing in parallel, is there any chance to port wiisx to wiiu native?
I made a native GX2 implementation for renderware. That doesn't have much to do with PS1 hardware emulation.
I doubt it would help much in terms of emulation.

Probably caused by loading and decoding the audio files. I/O on the Wii U is a pain to work with.

Maybe with Mashell FST homebrew environment this all will be a thing of the past. But then again who knows when that will actually happen

Running better! Noticed that one of the radio stations is now mute, not sure if it was Lips or Flashback.

Looking very nice with Trails ON.

Technical question: would it be possible later on to compress all .wav audio to .mp3 to save more space?

No relation whatsoever.

Finally got a chance to try this out. I've had issues the past couple days trying to get this to get past the optimising Video Card screen, turns out my SD Card is on the way out, I got a new one and that fixed my issue :)
The Game runs great! only a couple missions in so far.

I ended up going with the Channel method and made a custom Boot Sound if anyone's interested? ;)

This is the music used

Adding to this, if anyone is interested in getting rid of the RE-3 logo boot screen and logo, I'm sharing some .tga files I use.
Here's how they look.

Just a note.
The MP3 Station still appears when selecting the radio station, but it says "FEA° FMN Missing". Like this:

I dunno if there's some cleaning to be made for making it disappear completely.

Hmm interesting.
Also is this how the original game looks or is this way too dark?
I might need to look into lighting again.
