Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition launches today on iOS and Android

NyOpbVD.png

Last month saw the reveal that the Danganronpa Trilogy would be making its way to mobile devices later this year, complete with new UI and touchscreen controls to better suit the new platform. Today, the first game in the series, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, has surprise-launched worldwide on both the App Store and Google Play Store. This port of the decade-old game includes a gallery that lets you view character art, voice-acted lines, and promotional material. It also adds new controls to make investigation segments easier to play on a touchscreen. You can grab Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for $17.99 for Android, or $15.99 on iOS.

Haha, hell yeah.

Time to get Android on me switch.

Seriously tho, this is frickin awesome.

I first played the series through the Zetsubou fantranslation while on holidy using... you guessed it, my phone! Having it to go is really nice, especially since PPSSPP regressed their support of the game (there's a bug with crosshairs not being able to rotate if you rotate the camera which is sorta really gamebreaking).

Also, @Chary there's also these things that were announced (you might wanna mention these):

No native Switch port (a current gen powerful portable console with more than 55 mil. sales already)?!
What a shame, Spike..

Sadly just the first one but its a start. If I remember correctly they already had 1 on Android? But I guess you could always emulate the psp fan translations

I love mobile games. I really love them. I would never have a reason to kill the mobile market!

Please shoot me with a truth bullet.

I actually do love mobile games, not lying
Not because they're good or anything, but they keep the causals from flooding actual game servers
if they didnt exist there would be a lot more causals on PS4s and PCs.

That's a good point for online gaming.

I've already paid for this on 2 different platforms, so I think my wallet is safe this time.

Vita::yay:
Mobile::yay:
Switch::unsure:

I really don't understand why people keep on complaining under e v e r y s i n g l e thread that "said game" is not on Switch.
When you bought Switch, nothing about "said game" was promised. Developers own nothing to Switch nor Nintendo. If they don't want to develop for it, there's nothing we can do.

I feel it's genuinely going under this insane behavior of owners of Switch; like, you can't really talk anymore about Persona 5 because there's always that guy that literally kills every good conversation by screaming and shouting "Persona to Switch!!!!". Bloody hell, if Atlus wants, they'll do it, otherwise play it on the announced platform.

I literally am here for a Danganronpa-related news, not a Nintendo or Switch one.
