You are doing a great job at it I think. Old king's english has a lot of rules and syntax, I have a lot of respect for people who can do it properly. I'm not fond of the simplified english.
In english you type only every proper name and a few other things in capitals. Something like a title of a book or something .. for example "The Hunger Games"
In german this rule counts for every noun and many more things.
Example in a sentence:
Today the sun is shining, so I'm going outside and have fun.
Heute scheint die Sonne, also gehe ich raus und habe Spaß.
..okay, not the best example, bit its quite a difference.
