so this is what we were waiting for: another let down direct by nintendo...well, I expected nothing else. some of the shown stuff, should be in the indie direct. highlight: Panzer Dragoon out now

Switch is half way thru its lifespan and this is all what they have to show us for 2020. so sad
...and still people are talking like kids. "Mommy, they didn't announce next game from my beloved franchise. 2020 sucks, who cares that there will be later main Direct for 2020 and 2021. *sob* *sob*"

* BioShock Infinite
The physical game contains an 16GB cartridge including the opening acts of BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. Later game contents and add-ons will need to be downloaded.

* Borderland
The physical game contains an 8GB cartridge that features Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, with a 6.6GB download required. For Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel a 35GB download is required

* XCOM 2
The physical game contains an 8GB cartridge that features two base game missions. A download is required for the rest of the Total download size will not exceed 24GB.

This is the WORST physical collection i have ever seen made physical lol

What were they thinking? not including a single complete game on any collection is ridiculous.

Why have bits of all games and then not a single full on on cartridge? im gonna skip this hard, probably will get ps4 versions someday.

Quote me...

Nintendo is prepping for a Switch Pro to be released in March 2021.

Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4, Super Mario Odyssey 2 and Bayonetta 3 will all make use for the more powerful Switch Pro come this time next year.

Next Nintendo Direct will only be filler titles that run on the current Switch hardware until the end of 2020/begging on 2021.

So for the next Direct expect more Wii U ports, less demanding first party titles such as Paper Mario/Mario RPG, Mario Sports, etc..to fill the calendar until March 2021.

Breath of the Wild 2 will launch with the Switch Pro in March 2021.

no idea why everyone''s throwing everything on 8gb carts, 32gb flash memory is cheap nowadays... what makes the switch special?

unfortunately cartridge cheap != bluray disk cheap

I guess it's still better than in the N64 days (not getting the games at all), though I would prefer full games on cartridges as well

Nintendo, you left us in the dark for MONTHS only to show us this garbage? C'mon, not a single new first party game? Just show us a bunch of stuff we already know and indie games that should've been in last week's Nindie's showcase. Really disappointed. When are we gonna get a REAL direct?

Oh no it's not like I should expect a multi-million dollar company to give fans what they want and not keep them in the dark for months! People like you are the worst. Not everyone is an animal crossing fan. We didn't buy the switch for there to be no fucking (1st Party) games announced for it in all of 2020. For 1st Party all we got is Xenoblade and Animal Crossing. Nintendo needs to stop with this stupid drought season

I'm actually thinking about selling my Nintendo Switch. This is fucking garbage

there are large periods of time my switch collected dust but now is a good time for me:

LM3, SMM2, L:ZA, AC:NH, MK11 (port).

I wouldn't sell it because there will be a time you want to dust it off

but this direct was pretty crap, I agree.

but they are being extremely cheap.

THQ puts games like red faction remastered and both darksiders games on 16gb cartridges and sells them for 30$ new on retailers, heck even capcom putted dragon dogma on 16gb cartridge and sold it for 30$ they use smaller cards and want 50$ per collection while not offering a single game on cartridge.

So far thq nordic has the damn best physical releases to price comparison imo, which shows they are being cheap here.

People crying about this "snooze fest", are generally, people who got nothing more to do than to play videogames 24/7.
Dont get me wrong, we all love this hobby, but if gamers nowadays are co-dependent of every new Nintendo Direct, then they deserve to feel "betrayed & dissapointed" by their beloved and favorite franchise.
