Great games and all, but why is Golden Eye in Japan along with Jet Force (iirc) 18+?
Japan commonly does this it really has to do with cultural values considering games with guns and violence (like golden eye for example) are usually given a higher rater due to the violence included in said game but Japan usually rates game for lower age rating that have higher ratings here in the US (something like persona for example) like in japan they may be okay with sex and sexual references in games but in the US that usually gets a rating no lower then M or T (almost always M) but in japan they have different views over violence and gore either censoring the games or giving them a Cero C or Cero D rating

TL;DR Japan has different views on games then the US does

because it has with regulation to mandate all mature games to be sold or played in separate app.

The member did a good job to give a depth about Japan’s culture on violent games in #22.
