I can taste the possibility, it's right there and running at fullspeed on stock clocks, but... wow.
This is the most bizarre acid trip I've taken and I only just turned 21.



Annnnd I had to open my big dumb mouth because Dolphin Blue (Atomiswave) and Slashout (Naomi) work perfectly.
But again, it's like... 90% there, it's still a bit choppy with stock clocks - Dolphin Blue being like, half-speed, especially whenever water's involved (which, hence the name, is all the time). But it's so close.

You should have seen davidgf's build...

Tested Maken X and it has some issues during gameplay with the textures not loading or something, you can't see anything in front of you and some slowdowns during the opening cutscene but is otherwise performing well.

Naomi load crash regardless of games but play fine on PC desktop.

Atomiswave 2 Naomi load regardless of games but play fine on PC desktop.

Dreamcast general ok with almost any games.

SXOS 8.0.1 Im using emunand if that makes a difference. But everything else is still running from retroarch fine. Maybe I put the config files in the wrong place or have the wrong ones?

SXOS 2.8 beta not supported. Use Atmosphère only.

Thanks I wasn't sure Id have switched to Atmosphere already if it werent for my file based emunand I use but ill just have to make an emummc also for now!

‘Not supported’ in this context means that SX may work but nobody is testing on SX and support cannot be provided when devs can’t even see the code.

Well this situation is definitely firmware dependent because as soon as I tried retroarch on atmosphere it started up fine when it wasn't working on SXOS . Its interesting though because this is the first time I've ever had a problem like this from retroarch as all the other cores work just fine and even the standalone reicast version works on SXOS

So, this is just the same build as the one us Patrons got? Not that it's a problem, just wondering before I go through the trouble of benchmarking things only to get the same result.
Improved. Before, there were a few more Issues. Now, Graphics are showing, like for example, MKGold. Before, you could not even make out the Fighters properly. Now you can. CapvsSNK used to not show the Fighters because of Sprite Issues. Now it is MUCH better. Basically you can say it is a Graphical Improvement, which also fixes and helps certain games be fully Playable.

Did SX OS ever get the necessary whatever to support jit/dynarecs? If not that would break flycast.
Its missing key features other than jit stuff.
It won't work unless they fix their mess.

Correct, also metal slug for example is especially expensive since it nearly invalidates all textures each frame.
Thats like dozen of exceptions & context restores triggered, each single frame.
