Hopefully, there's no more DLC or updates out of the blue for you to get the editor up-to-date. Keep up the work!

Only one, the 4th DLC with Update 1.6.0 - but later xD

There is the new nightly-version on the nightly-server.
Version 2.9.0.0, full Support till Update 1.5.0 and 3rd DLC (Console+GUI), + my above mentioned changes within the GUI. (new Overview/Stats), new Weapon-edit fuction (;
Please test all functions with care and made a backup before you edit your save. There may some more bugs, please report them to the github-repo.
Have fun with all new functions - the stable release 3.0.0 will have solved the bades-bug and hopefully support for 1.6.0 and 4th DLC.

sorry for doublepost.

But within the new nightly is a big mistake and bug.
All AM-Items doesn't show correctly, it shows only the value of the first item of each AM-Map.
I fixed that already and also implement 95% support for 1.6.0 Update and 4th DLC.
The only thing left is the new Skill Heart Power. I will it finshed today, hopefully and then there will be a new nightly release.

I was wondering if it was somehow possible, in future updates, to kinda "restore" the Weapon Swap Glitch from the Wii U version ? And would it be possible with only save hex-editing, or would it need a full hacked game ?

It should be possible via an NTR plugin (which no-one has written yet) if you have CFW.

Or failing that theoretically possible with HANS although the 3DS version basically dumps all of its data that isn't sound or video into one single ~900MiB file so finding the right data to modify will be a chore.

Save file editing won't do the trick here though.

Finally I finished all stuff to release Version 3.0 !!
Official full support till Update 1.6.0 and 4th DLC with all kind of restrictions and many more new features. (;

PS: the DLC-identification could have some-problems, but 99% of all test it was correctly.
I will add in the next little-update a config-file, whcih you can edit yourself to change the editors behaviour of some things. (; (like disable DLC-safety-checks, enable proxy-http, ...)

Thanks for the report. It's fixed now.
Version 3.0.1 is the newest one instead of 3.0, link above also edited.

Problem was within the delete-weapon function (LVL, DamageBase and LegendaryState aren't cleared correctly)
I added also a fallback for your save (and all other older-edited saves).

No, i have Action Replay Powersave and the backups are not the same. The powersave encrypt their save so the editor cannot edit anything from that.

Hello all, it's me again. The frustration as you can imagine has only increased and no amount of deleted Youtube videos or "omg click this it has XML files cheers!" is going to help me.

So let me illiterate, I am NOT using a 3ds emulator that's already hacked. I have the Link Between Worlds 3DS, and I downloaded the games (because who the hell buys something they can lose or have have to swap to play). Which means I directly have the existing, encrypted, save file(s) derived from the back up option and the literal game files and primary save source.

Because everyone is like, but creating a tool to directly edit the save is like omg so hard, per instructions I attempted to use the newest version of homebrew and dropped it on the root of the SD card and per Youtube video instructions found from searching, because homebrew's video link has been deleted and they didn't put the DNS server information anywhere on their website, I even updated the DNS server and it did... Absolutely nothing.

So I downloaded the OoT3D hax files, which btw contain files that do not exist on the SD card, and I'm told to go read the readme which is unlinked, but it wants you to grab a sploit_installer, which wants you to compile it using "ctrulib" which in a google search just turns up a project you have to compile your self. Jesus people, have you never heard of simplicity?

So guess who has not figured out what to do from there? Me.
You, for some very obscure reason, may think this is simple but take a step back. I'm five inception levels down, each one apparently totally-dependent on the levels above it, and there still isn't a end in sight. I honestly think you people need to google winrar, it's a magical application windows can natively run and you can actually zip up all the files needed in the locations they need to be and post it as one file that any user can instantly use. >.>

Actually scratch that, can I just have an actual save file editor? You guys spent years trying to figure out how to rip the encrypted data out of the game cards and convert it to a readable format and that required hardware on top of things, how about taking thirty seconds and seeing if you can just decrypt the data backups the 3DS prints on the SD card any laptop or cell phone can read, it probably uses the same methods/format.

I apologize if I seem abrasive, but I've spent more days on this when it should have taken seconds.

There no way of decrypting the power save to make it work with the editor sorry.

So I discovered a slight bug of sorts in the NTR plugin if anyone else is experiencing it.

If you have a Spotpass gift, and all the food gained from gift is already maxed out (255) the game will just keep trying to give you the gift every time you start it. I'll dump a fix in by not setting things to 255 next time I update the plugin but if this has been happening to you just take note of what food it's trying to give you and make sure to feed some to one of your fairies before the next time you start the game.

Do you have an a9lh 3DS and/or use emuNand?
Do you try a .3dsx homebrew (like svdt or JSKM as 3dsx) or cia SaveManager like SaveDataFiler or JKSM?
The first ones can sometime beeing act like that, not everytime.
The second ones nearly have 100% bootrate (normally).
Hopefully you can install cia-files, that should avoid your problem - if not, mhm try to download the newest version of JKSM, as a 3dsx file and try again

It should take seconds, maybe use the Tutorial from here at gbatemp? Like this:
