With one single picture, Rockstar has sent its fans and game journalists alike into an absolute frenzy. Within seconds of tweeting this simple picture of its logo without another word about it, the internet spiraled into a fury over speculation of a reveal coming soon of Rockstars next game, most likely from the Red Dead franchise.

Rockstar really had no reason to mess with its logo, so speculation of an upcoming announcement certainly is not off base. Keep an eye on the Front Page for any news about a possible imminent announcement of a new game, or be like the millions of people that have a steady eye on Rockstars social media for the first glimpse of their next big title.

The Xbox 360 version of the original Red Dead Redemption became backwards compatible on Xbox One earlier this year, and Red Dead Revolver, the game’s predecessor, just recently became playable on PlayStation 4 via PSN. It’s been six years since the last Red Dead game, and 12 years since the first. Perhaps 6 is a magic number for the franchise?

I loved Red Dead Redemption and hated at the same time for that unjustified ending which I won't spoil. I'll keep on waiting patiently for a new RDR from R*.
