Kinda bummed that I need to get a N3DS to have full speed. Guess I'll have to make the switch someday.

I honestly recommend it. As soon as I found out about homebrew, I made the switch because I knew the faster processor was going to be very helpful with some projects. I was originally going to wait for more N3DS compatible games.

Hey, Steveice10, can I upload the version I have, it works fine with ninjhax 2, maybe you can look at the version I have and search for something broken.
Also, anybody can download it if they can't get an old version of this emu, I have the one that works, just before the update. Is that okay with you @Steveice10?

@Steveice10 you should check this out http://home.comcast.net/~plotor/fce3d.html it's a kind of 3d implimentation of fceu that you could probably get the 3d part working nicely.... Just something cool I figured I might show you

All that does is change all of the pixels to voxels. It's not stereoscopic 3D. The only way I could see Stereo 3D with any 2D emulator is somehow turning the 2D environment into 3D and separating the sprite layers to add depth. That really doesn't sound easy, either.

I think you're misinterpreting the intent of people suggesting support for a mode like FCE3D on 3DS. Nobody is under the impression that FCE3D is a stereoscopic emulator, what they are pointing out is that the result has a (very shallow) three-dimensional volume. The stereoscopic part would need to be added in addition to this volumetric display. In combination, these would give a (not very pronounced) 3D effect in that the backs of the voxels are slightly further away from the fronts and the image can be rotated to have an effect where one side of the screen is "further away".

Personally, this doesn't seem desirable to me; I'd probably try it out once or twice then go back to playing games normally, and it's a lot of effort for a developer to put in for an effect that's really just a novelty. In short, I don't care for it and wouldn't use it if it were implemented, but the fact that it could be used in combination with stereoscopic display to create a 3D image isn't really controversial.

you can do basically any kind of 3d if you have some sort of 3d image... I know these are just voxels, BUT they have a depth to them and converting that 3d image into stereoscopic would be cool, sure it might not be possible with what we know about the 3ds hardware wise YET, but who cares, people are working hard to reverse engineer the hardware so if we can get a hardware renderer going for NES (like staplebutter did with the SNES) then I'm quite sure it'll be possible I mean look at games that have a full 3d engine running behind them AND do stereoscopic 3d the 3ds has a lot more power locked in that GPU than I think most of us realize, yes sure those games are also running on native code and sure it won't be as efficient with emulation blah blah, yeah but hey in the end it was just something that I thought might be pretty cool whether or not it's actually possible

of course this is all in a friendly debate so if any of that sounded rude (it came across like that a little while I was rereading it to myself) it was not my intention :)

Even without such thing, I guess.

Nintendo managed to did it with the VC games so they aren't really any reason to not be able to be reproduced (GBA VC is not an emulator, but NES/GB/GBC are emulators).

And it's not a emulator optimized on purpose for the game they sell (contrary to N64 on Wii), the injection has proven that the same build (Metroid one for example) can run several hundred of games without any modifications).

(thats how kids are, they act like they found something, but never release it, so then you know they never had or found anything.) i dont want to be mean, but its disapointing.. ah well
I have a version that works, but I don't have pc access atm, so I cannot send it to you now, but expect a PM soon!

Does your working version exit to HB Launcher? I have a working version, but it doesn't go back to HB Laucher
I went to go check that, and now it whitescreens at boot. I will try to fix it by using that method on that Ninjhax 2.0 compatibility list thread. Works now. Nope, you can't exit, without holding down the power button.
