Will you be purchasing any amiibo figures ?
There are currently 18 figures

Wave 1:
Includes 12 amiibo and is launching November 21st (NA),November 28th (EU), November 29th (AU),

Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby, Marth

Wave 2 :
Includes 6 more amiibo and is launching December ? (NA), December 5th (EU) December 12th (AU)

Zelda, Pit, Diddy Kong, Captain Falcon, Luigi, Little Mac

Current Games that support will support amiibo:
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- Super Smash Bros. for 3DS
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
- Mario Kart 8
- Mario Party 10
- Yoshi's Woolly World
- Hyrule Warriors (Link only)

The figures can be used directly with Wii U Gamepad and New 3DS or with an adaptor for old 3DS consoles.

Buying as a whole bundle is intended for collectors and parents who like to spoil their children, so no, I'll be fine.

I'll have them on a shelf and all of 'em will be in its box, which means, I won't be opening any due for the sole purpose of collecting them as figures.

Have you played the new Smash? Google "smash character customizations" and you'll find out what it means. It can carry your customization data.
There will be an extension to use NFC on the 3DS (kinda like Skylanders).

It's more for little kids who like to go over to other kid's houses, I kinda get the selling point. If the parents will buy skylanders, dammit they'll buy amiibos too.

I voted no. But I really wanted to vote for "HELL NO!!!". I'm just not a collector of any kind of figurines.


Also: wii fit trainer? That's so hilariously stupid I'd even consider buying it if I could be arsed.
