I am wonderin if somehow with a custom version Nintendont and/or or a channel forwarder.wad if there would be a way to make a 'last game' Ninendont.....this way we could quick launch the last game we played from the Wii menu. Wouldn't that be useful?

Also is there a way to get Nintendont to keep seperate config settings for each game? It seems any change I make is global.

Why not turn on autoboot in nintendont settings and install the forwarder on the first page of this thread.

A rare example of when an emulator initially designed to run on consoles (NGC and Wii) goes on to become the most accurate, highest regarded emulator for its target platform on the PC. And by rare, I mean so rare that it had never happened before and it will never happen again :P It's a great emulator, both its .dol form and libretro core.

And has the best settings out of all the ports. Editable cheats menu, audio, controls, video, region setting, bios etc. Also SEGA CD bin/cue support with working, streaming PCM audio without having to use (optional) lower quality mp3.

Agreed, I'm sure a port of GensPlus GX to the PC would be well received, especially if it had some improvements such as iso+mp3 support for Sega CD!

Got new games :) Here is my report so far:

Burnout 2: Works great, but no background music.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2: Maybe it is me but, this game seems to lag heavily ingame, like running 40-45 fps instead of 60, giving a playable but slow experience. Apart of his I never encountered any freeze, in all modes.
Paper Mario: the thousand year door: Works great, nothing to say :)
The Simpsons: Hit and Run: Works great, nothing to say.

For now, we have it via RetroArch, but it is missing those features. It is open source, the problem is the lack of interest.

It freezes whenever I go into pursuit mode and choose a car, also during the championship at random times.

I played using 2.162 and didn't make it past the second race in championship before it froze with a whining BEEEEEEEEEEEP.

Do you feel the game runs slow for you? It seems to lag heavily.
I played in Championship mode over an hour whithout freezing, and Pursuit mode about 45 minutes or so.

Yeh the retail one lags too, it's just a bad port to be honest.

Oh, I used to play this game on ps2, I haven't experienced that before...
Anyway, should I let the 10 minutes freeze on notes? I haven't had freeze at all

I am having a wierd issue with the classic controller pro, heres an example i am playing Tomb Raider Legend and on some parts of the game you have to jump off a ledge and grapple, now if i jump off the ledge and push the grapple button once it doesnt work i fall of the ledge and die but if i jump off the ledge and push grapple twice it works and i grapple to safety. Using official nintendo brand wiimote and ccp if that helps. I have not tried it with other games yet and i dont know if its a problem on my part, maybe someone with a ccp could test this out so we can determine if its a loader issue? All anyone would need to do is boot the game then try to jump and grapple.

I heard about this RetroArch but I never got around testing it, what I really want though is a Game Gear emulator that supports multiplay, aside from the official ones by SEGA (Sonic Gems Collection/Sonic Mega Collection Plus/Sonic Adventure DX/3DS VC) I never heard of any, maybe this can be added to RetroArch at some point!

I gotta love the country i live in... I called the guys that sold me the Classic Controllers to let them know about the analog triggers not working (and one of them being stuck on "half-pressed") and they gave me the phone of the manufacturer tech service to call and arrange to send them for a revision and a possible fix...

I called today and from the start they wanted to slip away saying "the classic controller is for the wii, we never advertise it would work in GC games so if you find any limitations that's not our fault"; and only accepted to see the one that's stuck "if it affects gameplay on wii games" (which doesn't happen because half-pressed in the wii is like non-pressed, at least in the games i have)... I know i'm way off topic here but i'd like any advice you guys have about this kind of situation, because i want to play with nintendont; should I just take the risk (and expenses) of sending it and possibly get it back the same way it's now because "it works in wii games", or should i try to fix the controller on my own, even if it voids the warranty?

Not sure if you're referring to RA port or original NGC/Wii version, but RA port definitely has a lot of nice options. GUI isn't as nice, but full shader support, integer scaling, full aspect ratio customization and DSP support for applying a low-pass filter so that the high frequencies aren't ear-piercing on modern sound systems are excellent features. There's also rewind support for those who like to cheat :P I used the Wii version for simple blaster support for Snatcher, but otherwise I use the RA version on Windows.

what warranty? from what you said they are never gonna fix it so who cares about a warranty you will never use?
