the wiiU rebnot it to wii mode when you run a vwii
and disable wiiu stuff


if you want off-screen VC games buy the wiiU VC version

Yes. Fail0verflow have already found a way to keep wii u hardware enabled in wii mode. A homebrew framework needs to be developed around it however and no one seems willing to do so. I'm sure someone will do it eventually.

Anyway, yeah, it would have to be something similar to Devolution where it recreates Wii mode in a virtual machine running in Wii U mode since of the little hardware that can be re-enabled from vWii, the gamepad is not one of them. ... so we'd have to wait until somebody releases the Wii U mode exploit for that.

Honestly, crewman may be involved with those hacking only the gamepad. He may be in or friends with f0f. Might be bs but there is no way to know. Djbubba2002 turned out to be beta tester for wiikeyu and revealed it in a thread. Only saying there is no way to know.
