Hacking Wood R4 FAQ.

Hi guise, the only thing that is bothering me about wood firmware is that I can't listen to music using moonshell 2.10!

I put moonshell.nds on the root of my SD and it open, but when I play the songs, there is no sound at all!

Did you try using the alternative loader for moonshell2? (You could use the r27 one to see if it works and then swap to Xenon++'s since his is compiled using the latest devkit. [link])

Soft Reset doesn't work in Wood R4 1.06. Tried L+R+A+B+Down, L+R+A+B+Up, L+R+Select+Start, and L+R+A+B+X+Y. I turned the soft reset on already. Tested with Bomberman and Pokemon Soul Silver. Not sure about Bomberman, but it worked for SS before.

The 1.06 release refers to savedata.bin from AKAIO, or setting custom save sizes. maybe something about that belongs in the FAQ?

I'm guessing it goes in the rpg folder. we'll see

he meant that in the read me for r4 text file, YWG says you can use the savelist.bin from the latest AKAIO, since it can auto detect if the game needs 1mb sav, etc.etc. (something wood r4 cant)

I just thought i might add. It depends on which AceKard theme you are using for the cheats to work, apparently, as i found out,...
