@niuus
I don't think so.

i even asked Wiimpathy about WiiFlow compatibility missing on NeoCD-Wii but that was his answer: https://github.com/Wiimpathy/Neocd-Wii/issues/3

If Wiimpathy were interested in that of including WiiFlow support on your coming project NeoCD RX it could be nice.
Out of respect for his excellent job and contributions, don't tag or try to passively persuade him. He has explicitly stated many times before he is really tired of NeoCD.

you have reason my friend @niuus :P

anyways, i'm looking right now if anytime were a WiiFlow plugin for NeoCD Wii emulator and if were, try to look for the source code, where it was taken originally and check the code for try to implement to your project.

Speaking of NeoCD RX code, are you going to make a GitHub repo of this for see if i try to help with arguments support? :)

It has the same quick'n dirty workarounds I've added in neocd-wii.
Here : https://github.com/Wiimpathy/Neocd-Wii/blob/master/src/video/video.c#L234
and other small parts in this function.
And there : https://github.com/Wiimpathy/Neocd-Wii/blob/master/src/video/gxvideo.c#L53
It was originally this:

Code:
#define HASPECT 80
#define VASPECT 56

So the video part is rather wrong. We discussed with megalomaniac back then, he was informed of it. But yeah, not so good memories with this code.:hateit: :lol:
The positive part is the audio. It's better in his version(it was 'infact' dev work?).

What'd be nice is using neocd_libretro as a base. Fabrice Martinez is also the original author of the neocd emulator(1999 wow!) that most old ports(GC, xbox...) are derived from.
A libretro vita port exists but I don't know about the required work and about performance on our dear Wiis.

Anyway good luck @niuus and have fun!

Yeah! I've been reading and learning with your code too since a couple of years ago. Sadly, I couldn't get further with this as it is stuck at banner loading. I was recently learning the whole story that it was infact that got the ball rollling with the Redux version years ago, and you guys on the other hand were doing the other version without knowing each others work.

I am guessing the video part temporal errors can be seen mostly on Xeno Crisis, as it is cropping a small portion of the left side.

Interesting! The furthest my memory went with this emulator was using it in 1999, on DOS, with my then Windows 98 PC :D. Later on I rediscovered the project during the first years of the Gamecube homebrew era (mid 2000s), thanks to softdev's many cool ports, I used to hang out on TehSkeen, GenesisPlusGX was in its infancy and Swiss wasn't even a blip on the map (SD-Boot, anyone?), lol.

Last edited by niuus,
I made a new icons and new boot screens for that emulator. Just replace the files via FTPiiu_everywhere and WinSCP in this directory: /storage_mlc/usr/title/00050000/103562ff/meta/

fun fact, the guy literally once started spamming my discord dm's as well
he stopped after a while of no responses tho
I have sound turned off with discord since it would be every few seconds another notification.

I'll try to contact him so he stops spammimg. XD
Gosh, no. He/Her it's so stupidly annoying. I see that and its multiple accounts on almost every site.

where is machell59? he can finally play driver 2 without removing the fmvs and alien resurection xD
You can count on "it" that it will find new games to complain and make useless comparisons against other emulators. :D

It was a waste of time, he started to spam on Discord DMs asking to inject a Sonic game. :wacko:

New release is up! (2.6)

[2.6 - July 03, 2022]
* V-Sync is now activated. (thanks xjsxjs197!)
* Adjust some button shortcuts for entering the Menu.
Specially useful for people who use alternative classic controllers or
adapters that connect to the Wiimote, such as the DualShock 2, arcade
joysticks, NES and SNES Classic controllers, etc., some of which don't have
a Home button to return to the emulator's main menu.
* UStealth support.
* Wii 480p video fix. [Extrems]
* More 3rd party controllers support.

Your mileage may vary, but these 3rd party controller adapters also work now:

Tested 100% with some rounds in Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
