i got it working i used a different sd card. but now when i start a game it never loads and goes back to the system menu. screw it think i'll just stick with the wii

so im going to be doing a wii for a buddy at work. rev 1053 is pretty stable right? i really haven't used my wii much, been messing with cobra cfw for ps3. he will be using it for just playing games, no emunand just emu channels.

Now I tested with the new extras and steal sky exits to wiiflow after displaying an error msg (no more freezing)
so I updated the dol and scummvm.ini and added the Discworld 1/2 and zak to main dol.
alt dol setup is still there but not via source menu anymore

Ok, but for zak as for other fm-towns games, a mouse cursor bug isn't fixed yet: http://sourceforge.net/p/scummvm/bugs/6108/
That's only for a few lucas ports, but the versions can be very different and better than PC versions. For ex, zak is 256 colors, new sprites and audio CD. Loom is 256 colors with uncut dialogues (but not talkie). Indy 3 has audio cd tracks too.
They are rare and expensive, but untill it's fixed you still have to use the alt scummvm to play them.

Kyrandia 1 and 2 (not tested). In the bugtracker someone talks about Blues Clues Art Time too.

The issue occurs only in fm-towns version. Windows/dos versions don't have this problem.

In case you don't know about fm-towns, it's a japanese system: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FM_Towns
As I said earlier, some games are rather different from PC versions. Others are almost the same (monkey series).

Hey abz,

I did a full re-work of the scummvm set a few months ago, spent quite a bit of time on it, and I think they turned out pretty alright. You can grab the all-inclusive .rar here if you'd like. It has 101 covers and 10 alts. Feel free to use anything, if you want LQ, you'll have to re-size them though (currently 1024x680).

Here's the individual D/L folders if you wanted a preview or just wanted to grab a few and not the whole set.

Oh, and if anyones intersted, I tweaked the Grim Fandango Cover sion_zaphod posted awhile back too (just re-did the spine), to match the ScummVM set 'cuz I decided to merge the scummvm and residualvm plugins together, and it was driving me nuts. O.o

P.S. looks like only zak is in your pack. The others are not fm-townes edition. It's better to have separate covers for fm-townes like adding a logo or a visual cue. I ll see what i can do.

Sorry if this isn't the right place, but I have a question about the wiicolem plugin. Whenever I select a game, it gives me the message "Turn game off before inserting cartridge". It still works when I go into the settings and manually load a rom. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I didn't configure something properly.

It'll let me play games, but it gives me the dsi error when I try to install one. (Actually it gives me this error when I try to install one through anything.)

With the latest version or beta's, whats the procedure to getting priiloader to load straight into WiiFlow now?
Tried loads of different dols and getting dsi errors all over the place.

Also, the latest from FIX94 (r1054) also crashes for me loading through Homebrew channel.

Reason for direct loading to WiiFlow is kids cant be trusted.
Was working up til the other day when they formatted the Wii Storage (too many game saves!).

USB HDD is NTFS with a wbfs folder.
App folder is also on same NTFS partition and working great until the begninning of the week - after the Wii Storage was formatted.
