In both Amazon UK and ShopTo, the Wii U has risen to the top of the Electronics category in each site. Maybe the Wii U won't be doomed.

...That's only because of the price Amazon had it at. Pre-order price guarantee and all that jazz.

well amazon have removed the black WiiU completely

amazon will most likely provide a nice sorry letter and cancell the orders as the pre-order promise states in the terms and conditions that they may cancell at any time

ShopTo normally quite bangon but at least you dont have to commit to buy from ShopTo, your just put in teh que for one
they recommended yu dont pay now, you remain in the same place in the que weather you pay or not

I certainly hope it costs a lot less than £199.99.

199.99 British pounds sterling = 310.2845 US dollars HELL NO

Well, if it is 199.99 EURO then it would be 250.667 US dollars.. very affordable. So, it is between 250 to 300 dollars is possible for USA.

Amazon U.S. has Pikmin 3, NSMBU, and Nintendo Land for preorder for a cool $99.99 each! Wonder why they think they will cost that much? Perhaps they have packed in a 2nd Wii U tablet?

It's 199£ which in return is 245€, which would be changed to 250€ once released. Since the Europe always pays more than the US in both consoles and games, it'll be like always, we get the console for 250€ and you get it for 250$ like with the 3DS, Vita and all the others, you'll get it cheap, while we'll pay the 310$. xP

are you seriously complaining about it costing $10 more than a 250GB xbox or a 320GB ps3 for a six year newer system, with a touch screen?

You must be joking, based on what we understand of the Wii U capabilities, it will be as capable (more or less) than 360/PS3. How is 6 year old technology supposed to be worth over $200 ? Just because they throw in a touchscreen ?

because the other six year old technologies still cost that, i don't see anyone complaining about the cost of a ps3 or xbox 360 and neither of those have a touchscreen.

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
