Hello everyone, probably a stupid question but I just want clarification.

I’ve recently bought a few extra Wii Us, one I’m giving to my buddy and another will be used in my living room. On my main Wii U, I used Teconmoons VC injector to inject my Gamecube games onto my Wii U. I never made copies of these injects due to lack of storage on my PC but I’ve bought an extra HDD as I don’t want to keep downloading games as I’m putting the same games on two more Wii Us. I’m midway through loading games on the first Wii U and I’m up to the point of injecting Wii and Gamecube games.

For Wii injects, I don’t think there will be an issue as they don’t require me to insert my SD card to generate config files, however for the gamecube injects, they do require that in order to force widescreen, progressive, mem card emulation etc.

My question is, if I were to create these injects with these configs, will the configs be in the injected game file, or will they be tied to the SD card?

If they’re tied to the SD card then I assume I’m gonna run into trouble when trying to load these injects as they won’t have mem card emulation on nor will they force widescreen on the second SD card. If the config files are with the injects then I assume they will work as intended.

As I said, it’s probably a dumb question but I just want clarification and peace of mind as I’d rather not have to inject 30 or so games twice due to how long some of these injects take. The only reason I ask is because of the fact that I have to insert my SD to generate these configs for each game.

If anyone has any experience with this, any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m planning on testing it out soonish but I thought I’d make a post in case anyone has been in a similar situation as me. TYIA!

As long as you have your WUP files and the consoles you want to install those injects have both homebrew and the ability to boot it (in case those console uses haxchi instead of aroma or tiramisu)

Yeah, no need to inject again. I figured out that you only need to create a config file on your SD card once, not every time you inject a GCN game as I was doing before. So basically, all you have to do is download nintendont and create 1 config file to your SD. And that applies itself to all gamecube injects. Thanks for the reply.

also I put the 6V wiper motor back in
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
and it runs off of a potentiometer so it doesn't get 12V
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
reason being is the 12V motor parks the wipers in the wrong place every time
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
6V wiper motor is the key ingredient. parks nice and low
