Eh, I wouldn't even call this a dick move.

Now, if this was over food, medicine, or other items vital to people's health and well being, then yeah, sure. But we're talking about a video game console here - if someone didn't have the foresight to preorder and doesn't have the patience to wait, that's on them, not the seller.

Most, if not all, of those 2500 consoles would have gone to someone who did have the foresight to pre-order, so that means these people made 2500 other people miss out on their console for launch day, instead allowing those who didn't pre-order to get their hands on them before those who did. I'd definitely call that a dick move.

I was actually considering doing this myself to pay for my own Wii U, but my conscience got the better of me. I remember all the times I've been extorted over gig tickets that sold out within hours of going live so I had to pay 4x the price on eBay.

It's true, only really desperate and impatient (possibly stupidly rich?) people buy these extortionate prices on Ebay an the likes.

It is a shame when you see people buy so many extra. I can understand maybe buying one extra to sell on, but 6? That's just despicable.

Oh well..here comes the blind-eyed desperate parents who need to get their kids that console right now for Christmas ¬___¬

Saying that, I don't think this'll be as much of a craze in the UK as I haven't really heard much hype for it..and I haven't had very many pre-orders..but maybe that's just my area..

i figure more countries launching can only be a good thing for the Secondary market means More potential buyers and that the supply is more spread out p thus prices can go up and i don;t consider it a dick move at all, preorders sold out in like 4 days- a week and even reopened a few times on various sites, So if you did not get a launch wii u and wanted one it was Your own fault. pay the piper or wait till whenever u get lucky
