I doubt it. Isometric is a long time defined thing going back decades. 2.5D typically refers to an art style where a 3d engine is used to render a typical 2d game (for the most part either out and out classic platformer, puzzle platfomer or "think 16 bit era film tie in"). XBLA on the 360 was rife with it, and it is probably one of the easier ways to get said 8-16bit era style of gameplay today. It being more of a visual style than an out and out requirement also means you get the occasional twist on it and dev playing a bit with the concept, whether by a simple camera tweak which would be nigh on impossible for conventional 2d or vector stuff or something more fundamental/deviating from the 2d thing.Do you mean isometric view?
