Is it even plausible? i can't imagine why not. i figure that a seprate partition on the sd and a patch for the roms, hombrews, and browsers could allow any "RAM expansion pack" necessary software to run. I'd love to actually use a ds lite to browse the web cuz i dont wanna spend any $ on a dsi or 3ds atm.

Sorry but... No. The transfer speed between the SD and the flashcart and then between the flashcart and the CPU is simply too slow to facilitate something like this, plus, the hardware and software doesn't support such a setup. This is no full-blown OS that allows Virtual RAM, it's a simple handheld OS.

EDIT: Now that I think about it... even if you HAD the extra RAM, the DS hasn't got nearly enough processing power to browse the web properly. Handheld consoles are not made for that kind of stuff, they don't have advanced browsers - this kind of functionality is unfortunately always half-assed. If you want to take your browsing outside, get a smartphone.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
