I tried out the new Mario V's Donkey Kong game today (on iEdge) and on the very first level i found that the mini-mario sprites were invisible which obviously rendered the game unplayable

I think this is some kind of AP.

Has anyone else had this problem?

UPS Patcher, Mario vs. Donkey Kong Mini-Land Mayhem (U)

Im not sure - it might be the AP from what i know , Are a fix from the frezzing issue

But the offsets and hex are corrected from the (J) version of the ROM - For the (U) ROM - 100% correct offsets added , data patched over

Mario vs. Donkey Kong Mini-Land Mayhem (U) - (Patch)

1. Place Mario vs. Donkey Kong Mini-Land Mayhem (U) in same folder as UPS Patcher

2. Startup UPS Patcher.exe

3. Select Apply patch to a new file

4. Ups patch file to apply: Browse - MVD(U).ups

5. Source input file to apply patch to: Browse - Your, Mario vs. Donkey Kong ROM

6. Target to wright patched file to: Browse - Save the game to any name you like it to be

7. Apply patch - then you will have your new saved game

If it works let anyone know ? - use a backup copy of your original!

I wounder what they meant by AP patched for the (J) ROM...

Mario vs Donkey Kong Totsugeki Mini Land (J)

(J) ROM Patch manual

Code:
0X0021A66D 8F AA E0 -> 8E AA 36

0X0021A70D 45 AA E0 -> 44 AA 36

0X0021A7AD 1A AA E0 -> 19 AA 36

0X0021A84D 9C AA E0 -> 9B AA 36

The offsets where diffrent between the two Roms (J) and (U) - but the hex patch was spot on for the (U)

    @NinStar, I miss Iwata. He was a great asset to Nintendo.

    he was a great asset to gaming over all. He were a great programmer. He probably made the launch of Pokemon to even come true, thanks to his custom compression for the games to fit on a gameboy cartridge.

    now that's an interesting question

    @BigOnYa I have a xbox question
  • S @ salazarcosplay:
    what would be a reason why a 360 would turn off right away
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Ok shoot
  • S @ salazarcosplay:
    I had not used it in months, worked fine back them, then I tried using again and it shuts off after a minute at the most
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Most likely its overheating, prob needs new thermal paste on cpu/ gpu. That stuff after years dries up become crusty n no longer works to transfer the heat.
  • S @ salazarcosplay:
    besides that could there be other reasons?
  • S @ salazarcosplay:
    @BigOnYa I was thinking of running the bad update to get the dvd key then use to flash the dvd drive
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Doesn't sound like it if it worked fine before, other things to check is visually check USB and hdmi (if it has) ports for damage.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Other possibility is a bad power supply block. I'd start with replacing thermal paste, cause if you never have, it definitely needs new paste.

    Tencent just injected a shit ton of money on Ubisoft and got way more rights to the IPs.

    Guess things were worse than they wanted to let others know
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    @salazarcosplay When it shuts off on its own, does the power supply light show red or orange light? If its red, most likely bad power supply. Orange is normal off, green when powered on, red is a fault.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
    Everyone's giving that game repo attention and it just feels like an among us clone
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Even after turning on, then wait for it to power off on its own, then what color? If orange then normal. I'd start with repaste. Most likely just overheating.
