Gaming The most annoying thing in The World Ends With You is...

The World Ends With You - You all must have played it by now (if not do so, it's a gold caliber game) but.. after all those weeks what did you find the most annoying? or the most irritating process in the game?

For myself, honestly it was waking up to that chick singing every morning. It was just a 7 second sample just looping over and over again... and then through out the dialog.. over and over again.. i was just like...

Yeah I hate that kind of music. What really annoyed me was the poor quality of the dialog, going on forever not really saying anything or being entertaining at all, it didn't suck me into the story and infact at the start of day two I just turned off the DS and stopped playing. I also don't really like the art work, it's too busy and the combat system didn't appeal to me either.

I was going to make a topic asking what people like about the game because I couldn't see anything good about it, since I didn't give it much of a chance I wondered if maybe something good happens later in the game.

The only part i hate... the controls... I am sorry but i mean.... I want THE Freakin ICICLE PIN... stop shooting the horizontal bullets....
and then the top screen... it always gets me killed... on auto it sucks... when i play i sometimes forget to press the combos...

Rearrange the pins, they get executed in order so pins closer to the left take precedence over the ones closer to the right. I never had problem with the pins.

I really don't get whats so great about this game? I think people glorify TWEWY because the've gotten use to sub-standard showelware. This is a mediocre game in my eyes.

Yeah i kno but then later in the game ... i usually want to use other pins and since they last in order i cannot get them to activate until the 1st ones are wasted....I have found like 3 poeple at my school who have the same problem as me

Then use the sub pin system where some pins are activated and deactivated when you press one of the shoulder buttons.

I played it because it heavily reminded me of Jet set radio.

After I finished the game, it was fairly decent if you ask me....

Mediocre is a little harsh. It was a fairly good game but I wouldn't put it in my top 5 DS games

I personally enjoy this game a ton. The only thing that really annoyed me is when the talking scenes are like a million boxes of text one after another, and the pins sometimes are a hassle to set up.

But other than that, I love the story, music, style, and gameplay.

If you actually listen to it, it's the full song, not a looping sample... download the OST (or buy it if you can find it!)... you'll see what I mean... and the song was awesome!

i quite liked the main song. its the other little hip hop numbers they put in that were annoying.

there was no where near enough versatility in the game for it to be interesting for the entire length of the game.

Its not for everyone, but I personally found the game enjoyable.
