Hardware Swapping out an Exeq Gamebox LCD into an SP 001?

was having a thought when playing my ags 001 as the screen is in such condition I wanted to get a 101 but they are expensive
Question is would it work if I swapped out the LCD from an Exeq Gamebox clone snd put it into the 001?
Ie do they have the same parts/connections etc?
Just wondering before I decide whether or not to get a 101

the resolution of the LCDs of these clone systems are usually not the same as the gba

Ah ok just wondering if anyone had tried it as the screen on my 001 is almost unplayable
