Hey Noitora, just in case you might decide to translate the unit names, I've seen pretty much every mecha anime in SRW K (except Gaiking and C.E. 73 Stargazer) so I can name most units with just a picture.

lol shakraka. i am watching Daiku Maryu Gaiking and it's a good animé. about a kiddo who controls a giant of flame. also what does Def stands for ?
i know that daiku maryu has his volution protect but for revlius rex / regina its just a switch 0.o

Thats odd, this patch is declared finished in finished translations thread, even though, as Noitora just said, he's still doing things with it.

I wish i could meet Banpresto executive on the street so i could beat him to death with a stick for not releasing translated versions...

ok i have finished it 3 times already and i am slowing down a bit to watch some animé and i completed the series Daiku Maryu Gaiking.
the last few episodes were epic, especially with Gaiking the Great.
it gave me another chill to play super robot wars, and also if i am right this is Gaiking and Daiku maryu's second appearance as Gaiking, Legend of Daiku Maryu.
previous gaiking was Force Five, which i really don't like 0.o
so in other words i have the time of my life with super robot wars k and this patch atm ^^

So, instead of translating seishins names, you translated their description ?
Thats...a weird decision. Doesnt make much sense to me. Names are all thats important, descriptions can be looked for in a faq somewhere.

Oh well, maybe someone else will do the seishin names and make the game actually playable.

SP names won't fit. You'd have a bunch of SPs listed like VA, FO, AS, ect. The game is playable without having to translate the SP commands, just use this website for translations.

And it's nice that you're thankful to Noitora for translating the descriptions instead of leaving it.

ok i know im going to sound like the most ignorant person in the world but please help me out...

this is my first time ever doing anything like this so im having trouble let me list my steps and plz tell me what im doing wrong.

1st: i opened the RAR file xdeltaUI

2nd: i take out the files inside to my desktop or a folder

3rd: i open the xdeltaUI

this is where i start getting lost, i read how to do it on this forum but i still fail! lol

Patch: i put the xdelta.exe that was inside the RAR file

Source File: I put the original 3535 - Super Robot Taisen K (J)(Xenophobia) file

Output File: im not sure what to do here. I made a copy of 3535 - Super Robot Taisen K (J)(Xenophobia) changed the name by putting Translated - Super Robot Taisen K (J)(Xenophobia)

BUT when i put to open the copied ROM it tells me that there is already a file like that, im guessing its the original SRT K. it asks me if i want to replace or to put it anyways, so i proceed and put yes and put it anyways.

when i put patch it gives me an error saying: xdelta3: not a VCDIFF input: XD3_INVALID_INPUT

OR it gives me another error there, that i don't remember what it was. i think that error was closer to me doing this whole thing correctly.

plz help

i know its a lot of content to read and for the person who made it thanks a lot even tho i can't use it right now, i can't even begin to imagine how hard it was to translate this game.

i have Windows Vista btw if that matters.

thanks for answering back. and yeah i did. the problem is when i try to put the output it says that it already exists and if i want to replace it? yes or no. i put yes and then i put patch and i fail givin me the error that in my last post.

when im making the output file, i make a copy of the RAW original SRT K game, and i change the name keeping the .nds in the end (i have it lower case does that matter?? i tried with CAPS and same result)

it still says its the same existing file and if i want to replace wtf!?! i know this is a very simple thing to do but obviously im doing something wrong and its the output thats givin me most trouble i think.

I tried patching a minute ago and I can patch it successfully, I wonder why can't you patch it. Try to download xdeltaUI again, did you get it from romhacking.net? Try this http://filetrip.net/f6934-xdelta-UI.html

I think your problem is here (I bold the words)
Patch : use "srt_k_patch3.xdelta" (use Noitora's patch!! Not "xdelta.exe". You've downloaded Noitora's patch, right?)

Do you understand what I mean? Try it.

oh thank god man i finally got it to work!! lol i played J almost to the end in all japanese and i stopped playing after a while so i forgot all about the specials and everything i also can't play the game to its full potential without knowing the parts and things.

thanks a lot again, what happened was i downloaded the xdelta UI but not the actual patch, i looked at the right side of the page and it said download here lmfaooo
