okay i am so sorry i cant figure out how to upload the patch mostly cause i dont know what to enter in the xdeltaui program and because i have no idea how to rip my umd disc to an iso file and the patching instucions are confusing and the internet is no help at all please someone anyone help soooo sorry for being a newb

i tried that page but it dident work my psp is verison 6.61

So it is not custom firmware then? if the version is 6.61 without any letters then it means it is official firmware, if that's so you need to get custom firmware...

nope mine is custom firmware what i meant by that turtoial dident work is i did everything that said but i dident quite understand it im sorry to ask for all ur help and for being a newb but if my mom finds out i wasted 40$ shes going to kill me

I would say then just get the iso by other means... And what exactly didn't work, you didn't understand with the tutorial i gave you?

Just a short announcement that I decided not to release an update patch for Storm Lover Kai. Only minor mistakes were reported so far and it's a bit confusing to release many versions of patches. So, the current patch will be final and I'll list the mistakes in the Known Issues on my Google site. My apology to anyone who has waited for an updated patch.

By the way, this game is released for PS Vita (in Japanese, though), so if you want to practice Japanese, you can try it. (This game used quite basic everyday Japanese, so it's not difficult to read. You might enjoy the puns/jokes more when you read them in Japanese. (Especially Takumi's conversations. Some of them didn't sound as "ero" as the original when I translated them to English.)

P.S. I'll still be on hiatus from fan translation for a while after this.

@jjjewel you're great, really. Made such big and really nice localization all alone (yes, I know that xyz helped you with hacks, but they are not the thing which takes lot of dedication)... I would never be able to do it, really, even if I learned japanese... Do not have enough dedication, so I envy you quite a bit

This game really needed a lot of hacking and most were too complicated for me. So when I said the patch was impossible without thexyz's help, I really meant it.
The preliminary test of editing and repacking the files already made the game crash, so I requested thexyz's help since the first step in hacking the game. And things kept getting more complicated as we progressed. One problem really led to another, so I constantly bugged thexyz for help throughout the whole project.

I edited the first post a bit. Actually, you don't need save files from Storm Lover to unlock special voices. (I got the info mixed up with another game. T_T) But you can transfer your save file from the original Storm Lover if you have already cleared some endings.

Currently I'm checking the scripts for mistakes (which I still found some here and there.) If there's no major problem, the patch should be released a little bit after the updated patch of Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3.

You can create a new thread and ask for people who might be interested to help. (Providing info what you can do for the project. Ex. If you can translate the game by yourself, or if you have to wait for other people to translate it for you.) You'll need a dedicate rom-hacker, with ASM hacking experience. (This game is not going to be easy to hack.)
