Hacking SSBB NOT WORKING WITH WIIKEY NTSC-U *PROOF BY ME!*

to the kid whos posting info about wiikey not working, and D2C / cyclowiz working, do you have a copy of the actual japanese legit game and are trying it on a NTSC american wii? or are u using it on a wii from japan?

it's not me who have the game but a BC member called Tusharix. He has the original disc & tested it on a NTSC-U wii.

He has an NTSC-U. I'm at the computer with the LG drive. The LG drive will not work!!! It says that "Drive might be faulty." Oh well... we'll leave it to the teams."

Yes it is, Its been confirmed by BC members to work on Cyclowiz, meaning it CAN work on older consoles, (the member didnt get past the update screen btw for obvious reasons...) so now we just need a dump and get rid of the update. and an update for wiikey

I think you misunderstood what I meant by an update. The audio fix was a problem for both originals and backups. Was that do to stealth issues with the chip? I am asking if that problem is fixable by a Wiikey firmware update.

why would a plane be able to take off on a treadmill? the reason an airplane takes off is because of the wind draft below the wings as it moves forward. on a threadmill, the only thing that moves is the wheels

It most certainly can. I play Power Pros on my PAL Wii all the time and it's an original.

Edit: Which by the way I get exactly the same issues with as described in Nintendo's handout about the error message.

But doesn't the engine just pull in air to move the plane forward to increase the wind draft or friction? And in order to create that friction the plane would have to move forward, but that wouldn't work because of the treadmill... right? Unless I am missing something here.

Here's some good news, unless my Chinese got crapped thanks to countless refreshing of SSBB leak related pages.

The guy did not release the ISO since it is dangerous for one person to release this; I mean, if he does, he WILL be the first one to release this game, and if Nintendo catches him, he'll be in big trouble. Can't blame him.

EDIT: Hmm, apparently, SSBB is a DVD-9 file, since the guy tried again in One-player SSE and it gave him a disc-read error after first stage, and he thinks that the 2nd stage and so forth's files are on the DVD-9 part, which was not ripped. Well, one step closer at least.
