I recently purchased a brand new Acekard 2i from Gamebygame. When I first put in the microSD card, the spring that keeps it in place does not function as it should. Keep in mind that this attempt of putting in the microSD was the first time putting it in. I'm somewhat disappointed due to the fact that this Acekard was for my younger brother. I am aware that Gamebygame has a 30-day return policy, but some users here say that they are unresponsive.

What it's currently doing:
When attempting to put in a SD card, it does not stay in place, pops back out.

What I have already done:
I have already contacted the reseller (Game by Game, trusted reseller on Acekard.com) about the warrenty stated on Acekard's site, but they refuse.

Suggestions? Any known fixes? "Just call Gamebygame you lazy ass?"

that sucks to hear, but I remember some people saying that after awhile their spring started to work.

this one guy said that he pushed really hard on microsd card into his acekard2i until he heard a snap and it worked.

I had the same thing happen with one of my first AK2i cards.
DaBomb here on GBAtemp had the fix that actually worked for me.

He said push it in really, really, hard until you hear and feel a snap.

Yeah, right, I thought to myself, that will just break it even worse.
But wait, the card isn't working right now, what is the worst that could happen?
I tried it, got the "snap" and that card worked great ever since.

DaBomb, if you are reading this, thanks man, you saved my AK2i!

I'm probably gonna end up calling Gamebygame.

First of all try to push the microsd in REALLLLLYYY hard(I mean all your strength) Till you hear a snap. The micro sd slot should work then. That same sort of thing happened between my acekard and ds lite today.(well not so much.) I just pushed and in harder and reinserted in and out till the DS recognized it, and that same microsd thing happened to me before also. Acekard=contact problems and such at first, but after awhile it gets better.
