The menu system is fine with me, but I'm not a big fan of the Mii creation. There's simply not enough options to create a unique Mii, and I see too many that all look the same. Of the big three, the Xbox 360 avatar creation is the only one that captures me perfectly. My Mii looks like my brother's Mii, and my PS3 home avatar, well.....I just gave up (and created the most ridiculous looking creature that can run around the plaza and mess with people).

Thank goodness. Being able to change menu layout at will whenever is very nice. ( I don't like the DSi one as much. )

Noticed this in the video and figured that was what it was. I remember a while ago, at some other event (may have been E3, can't remember) Nintendo released a video of the DSi (it was about the WiFi communication thingy) and the menu was laid out in two rows in that video.

You've obviously used a Commodore 64 or played an old DOS game.

Think of the GUI as a privilege.

In the DS you have to do that... Unless you change the settings and let it auto-boot to the game inserted inside it!
People LOVE to complain about silly things, don't they?
