I removed the flamed messages, this is a topic with news about the demo (and obviously the full game), I think any news are good.
If it spoil, then use the spoiler tag (and try to detail what will be spoiled, or else the users are forced to open it to see if it will spoil them or not).

About the code tag, it's coloring based on html or PHP.
Code:

"Allow to Play Without Wii-Motionplus+"

Now I actually can try this
:wtf:;; I wonder how well it works without it...

Anyone care to tell us how it works ?

basically without wii motion plus you just do a thursted stab instead of swinging and also a front flip slice
(this is what i assume as i cannot load it on a real wii so just emulated it and fooled it to think there was a motion plus when all i had was keyboard and mouse)

The MotionPlus keeps decaliberating... is it something I'm doing or just an issue with the Demo?

Please help!
known bug with the demo. your good

No he's not. His motion plus is acting up. It has NOTHING to do with the software.
The E3 demo presentation was bad because of radio interference. EVERYBODY should know that.

I have'nt any problem with calibration whatsoever.
On the other hand my second Motion + is screwing all the time.
It's hardware failing and a know problem with the accelerometers.
It can also happen to your normal Motes. Nintendo has an official trouble shooting guide for this.
It involves Slapping the Wiimote fermly on the back.
Sometime things get stuck inside the meters.

NOT KIDDING.

DUDE

i have been playing the DEMO for ages (months)
and its a BUG! there is a coding error where it completely loses the calibration
its known at all events and happens
yes some of these people may have slight times when it goes wrong but there is a BUG also causing the issue

No the motion+ is fine. I've played that demo on a few occasions at a few events and certain actions can cause the motions to become reversed. This is more indicative of an algorithmic issue from trying to interpret the acceleration data into 3d space co-ordinates. The accelerometer itself is pretty dumb and so should have absolutely no problem simply outputting the value it sees for acceleration. And as for wireless interference, just no that wouldn't cause these sorts of problems. Bluetooth has got all sorts of protection to ensure that you either get the correct data or no data at all, but never corrupted data.

Please anyone with problems calibrating, try this:

Friendly Nintendo Help Desk Lady: "Okay – I want you to take the remote, button side down and smack it into the palm of your hand two or three times."
Russ: "You’ve got to be kidding"
Friendly Nintendo Help Desk Lady: "No sir, do it hard enough that I can hear it across the phone line but not hard enough to damage the remote"
Russ: "You’re sure?"
Friendly Nintendo Help Desk Lady: "Yes, sir."
So, button-side down, the funky Wii remote got smacked in the palm of my hand three times….
…and the thing worked!
Now, why don’t they publish this fix on the support site?

I do not know shit about the coding language that Ocarina is written in, but try to either replace the * by // or remove those lines at all

Did you by any chance use Ocarina Cheat Code Manager?
If so thats the issue.
Just create an empty .txt on the desktop and paste the content, transfer to the HDD, manage cheats in cfg, select the cheats you want and finally chose convert to gct - play!
