Hi!

First of all, this is for the PAL version of "Skyward Sword", but that version has the english language included. So I hope thats okay. Since many gecko codes for Zelda "Skyward Sword" do not work properly or not at all, and I didn't find other good working codes in the net, I have created a few action replay codes for the game myself. I have tried them on 2 different dolphin versions and they worked. In the game there are sometimes several items on one address. Only the respective value is different. Because of this it may happen that some codes overlap if you activate several or all at once. Therefore try a little bit around. I think it's best to save correctly (ingame save) after activating the codes and not just by save state. Then load the game again and everything should work. Especially for the "Bugs & Material" cheat codes. Since I am still at the beginning of the game, I have not yet been able to create codes for all things. To use these codes just put the "SOUP01.ini" file in the "GameSettings" folder. It's in the "User" folder of the emulator folder.

And two last things. The moonjump code works fine but needs a button activator code. Its the same code like the gecko code but the gecko button activator doesn't work. I tried several variants but I couldn't get it right. Maybe can someone find the right button activator and post it here or per PM to me. Also a patch or serial code for all the "Bugs & Material" cheat codes would be great.

And the second. The "Inf. Bombs" code only works if you buy some bombs or you use the first code on the list (Activates Inf. Arrows x20 + Inf. Bombs x10). If somebody has a question about a code just write. Have fun gambling!

bye

I use this topic (which is not too old, so that's not a big dig up ^^) to add gecko codes for Skyward Sword PAL version (SOUP01).

These codes are REALLY HARD to find on the web, as almost all of them are not on GameHacking nor on the wiki (or they exist only for the NTSC version).
They make the Wii version way more enjoyable, visually and with QoL improvements.

I tested all these codes on a real Wii with a genuine disc of Skyward Sword (PAL), and update 1.01 installed.
Note: when creating your SOUP01.txt, do not copy the lines that start with a *

Code:
SOUP01
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

No Art Style Filters -Rev+Region Free- [Anarion]
F6000001 80178018
88030034 C3830030
14000000 38000000
E0000000 80008000
00E52168 00000000

Remove the ugly painting effect. Make the image crystal clear combined with USBLGX Deflicker OFF (safe). Any other code you can find for the PAL version does not work.

Code:
Instant Text 1.01 (160x Normal Text Speed) [brkirch]

C2115DA0 0000000A
48000009 000000A0
7C6802A6 80830000
28040001 4081002C
3884FFFF 90830000
3C60800B 606326E0
7C6903A6 807F0720
38800000 38A00001
4E800421 4BFFFFC4
388000A0 90830000
807F0720 00000000

The text during dialogues appears instantaneously. Best QoL ever. The very slow text speed is now only a bad memory. There is also a code for the 1.02 rev if needed (see at the end of the post).

Code:
No Black Bars [Anarion]
F6000001 80008100
C3E30020 C03E0290
D2000004 00000003
3D800000 618C0000
919E0290 C03E0290
60000000 00000000
E0000000 80008000

Removes the black bars when Z-targeting or when opening/closing any door. Any other code you can find for this is glitched. Only this one works perfectly.

Code:
No low battery symbol appears [CosmoCortney]
04BE3554 42000000
04BE3558 42000000

Disable Fi's Low Battery Warning [Bully@Wiiplaza]
F6000001 80008100
3BE01901 2C030000
1400001C 48000070
E0000000 80008000

Disable Fi's Low Health Warning [Bully@Wiiplaza]
F6000001 80008100
5460043E 2800000C
14000008 4800003C
E0000000 80008000

Disable Low Health Alarm [Bully@Wiiplaza]
F6000001 80008100
A80300BA B0034426
140020B4 48000028
E0000000 80008000

Disable Fi's Low Shield Gauge Warning [Bully@Wiiplaza]
F6000001 80008100
3C640001 C04333FC
14000014 4800003C
E0000000 80008000

*Credits to brkirch for all codes above

Disable all these annoying warnings. Make the experience waayyyy smoother.

Code:
No Notification The First Time You Collect A Bug Or Treasure [Bully@Wiiplaza]
F6000001 80008100
819E08B8 387E08B8
14003A2C 60000000
E0000000 80008000

*Credits to brkirch

Remove the very annoying text pop-ups EACH TIME a bug or treasure is collected. To see the text about the object collected, simply check the inventory.

Code:
Change Save into Hero Save [Thomas83Lin]
00955D62 000000F8

*Enter an existing save, then save and quit. The Hyrule emblem will appear on the save.
*Disable the code afterwards.

Neat code that allows to start a fresh new game directly on Hero Mode (and not as a new game+ only). Make the game way more challenging and interesting.
How to: Create a new normal save, play until you can save, then quit. Quit the game and activate the code. Launch again the game, load your save, then save and quit. The save is now a Hero save. Quit the game again and disable the code (REALLY: don't forget to disable it once you have converted the save !).
You can now play a game from scratch, but on Hero Mode! \o/

Not tested, as I don't have the 1.02 update on my Wii. I didn't even know there was another update btw, I thought there was only one for the gamebreaking glitch (progress lock under some circumstances).

Now with these codes, you can fully enjoy Skyward Sword on Wii if you have the PAL version. Good game !
