  • Yesterday got an ROG Ally Z1 Extreme with a 1TB SSD. I already ordered a 80Wh battery and the HandheldDIY backplate.
It's amazing how it even runs games ala Cyberpunk 2077, although around 45fps, it doesn't explode in the process.

    Such an amazing device tbh.

Just got this AsciiPad 64. It works amazing, and here it's side by side with my 8bitdo Smoke Gray modded controller.
So far, I have atm an Atomic Purple controller, 2 gray controllers with 8bitdo joysticks, this AsciiPad 64, and my main 8bitdo Smoke Gray controller.
Playing this on something other than a ModRetro is pretty... interesting to say the least.

That's because the Chromatic is basically a GBC clone on an FPGA. Games perform the same on original hardware, too.

Yeah. I don't have the Chromatic, but playing this on real hardware is amazing. It's most likely the ideal version of Tetris on the GBC, but it does not beat the OG one tbf.
So my TV is showing this bs:

With no job atm, and being out of warranty because is 2 years and a half old, dunno when the fuck I may be able to fix it.

Checking, this along with even higher spec models are prone to fail.
It began as horizontal lines across the upper right corner, then it spread and then this.
Selling the TV for parts atm while I get some money to better another one. Some QLED decent TVs are really cheap now compared to 5 years ago, so I may go with a QLED panel now.

I didn't say any connection failed, but the chip itself may have failed. Try *unplugging* 1 or 2 ribbons on the right side, on bigger displays it's likely that it's not soldered, but connector.

This is the ribbon coming from the display panel itself, not the 1 or 2 super-wide flex that connects to the main board on the top of the display panel.

Sorry, checked again and it performs the same. Yeah, it most likely is toasted, and I asked LG if they had any means to fix it and they don't have the parts needed here in Mexico, so most likely it still will be cheaper to get a new TV.

I just bought a pink Nintendo DS Lite. A little bit dirty, but it works nice.
Cool to use the EZ-Flash Omega DE function as a rumble pak for Nintendo DS games.
Love doing this progress images, from different games where the protagonist is the same in all entries.

It works nice. I still need to learn the quirks of the PS3 CFW (mainly which games can be booted from folder format and which need to be .isos or .pkgs), but at least I can play my PS2 games via HDMI with a wireless controller.
So at the end my PS3 came in good shape internally, 3 days of uptime (kinda sus tbh), but the shell and the controller are a little bit broken, with the PS3 having a little bit of glue on some seams. Tbf I don't care a lot since everything works, and it's a japanese model CECHB, so it has full PS2 compatibility and the temps are good enough.
Just replacing the thermal paste should be enough for the meantime.
Currently ordered a PS3 CECHB, with (apparently) everything working in order. and an added 1TB hard drive. Gonna check changing the termal paste and depending on how much time has been used, even deliding and adding a cooler.
Also, searching for a PSP 3000 screen, since the one on mine has damaged pixels unfortunately. Gonna order some soon from AliExpress if I cannot find a OEM replacement.

Considering the PS3 already has an HDD installed, deliding and such may not be necessary since it may have been done, but tbf it's not bad to be prepared in case it hasn't.
    Howdy.
Any suggestions for a little 2 inch (5 cm.) aprox tattoo? I've considered the unicorn from Blade Runner, Mr. Sparkle from The Simpsons, and the Iso mark from Tron Legacy.
I'm open to any theme or image suggestion.
Remember when Android phones used to took literal minutes to boot up?

    Can't confirm a big improvement.

*Turns on Pixel 8a* → Your device is loading a different OS 10s → Google logo 5s → GrapheneOS logo 15s → Ready
    *Turns on Huawei Y7 2017* → Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted 20s → Huawei Logo+animation 15s → Ready
*Turns on Sony Xperia L (2013)* → Sony logo 20s→ LineageOS animation 30s → Ready

*Turns on Nokia non-smart phone* → Ready almost instantly.

Even the Symbian-based ones boot fast. It takes longer to show the carrier's boot animation than to actually load the home screen.

    No, Never happened to me.
I changed my phone (again) to the Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Edition (dunno why every phone I get is a mouthful). I really liked the S22 Ultra, but I had a lot of issues getting phone reception after I was near the hurricane in Oaxaca a couple weeks ago.
I had a dream that mixed Spongebob and Mother 3, where the models where in 3D ala PS2 Jak and Daxter, Porkey was helped by a past self before Earthbound to fight Spongebob, and if you lose early in the fight, it was implied that Porkey in his big spider robot squished Spongebob to dead like a literal sponge.

    What the fuck.
So I tried to recreate my og avatar from memory, on my Nintendo 64, on the iQue version of Super Mario 64. It looks more confused, as I'm in life atm.

Also, the complete image has the Photoshop thing about unlicensed app, since ofc I will not pay for Photoshop, and I've not cracked it yet.
It's just a screenshot of my Photoshop screen, and a lot of watermarks.

Why does some people take care of their controllers like they shit on it, and then try to sell them on the Internet for hundreds of pesos?
The fact that it appears you wiped your ass with it doesn't make it special at all fam.

They are desperate to get a bit of the money back from how expensive they were brand new I guess.

Personally I take great care of my controllers for the same reason, don't wanna spend thousands for another one.
So, I did this installation. The main issue? The shell.

It's really tight everywhere except the screen, which it fits just right. Just waiting for the new Funnyplaying battery, since the OEM battery is bulging unfortunately.

Also, aftermarket hinges don't click as good. Unfortunately one of the OEMs from the console is broken.

Also, if someone in Mexico City needs or wants an AGS-001 screen, OEM speaker, or something, I can give it to you. Just send me a DM.
